i kinda want to make a train that circles around a planet with a space elevator on it maybe i can get it to connect between planets

i would love to see this with a higher elevated raise in ramps. because i would love to build a train system in a colony where it raised the track to 45 degrees

Is it working still? I found a guide but very old (2016). When I set up the 'train' it jiggling like jelly and will not move. Klang has found its new toy it seems. The 'wheels' are set up as, with each item below the previous:
>train chassis
>suspension
>landing gear

Am I doing something wrong? I can't see a "dampening" option anywhere but it may have changed name.

People that complain. The curve track work if you make guard rail that copy curved rail shape.
Very old SE update (before warfare1) broke the curved line calculation in script this mod use.
Still neat mod and i build many stuff with it.

Was one kinda, I dont remember name offhand but it did not have cross pieces or real angled parts if i recall.

As for update ya would think once people see its last update around 7 years ago would realize wont be a update.

Can Draygo make simplified version of this? Will be good if mod logic has block tag so you can add custom made blocks without need touch your script.

@dragonsphotoworks Only stuff that not work are curved ones. On bended curved ones you will go just forward and de-rail / fall off rail.

After some testing of the curve blocks.
LG_SC_Rail_CurveSML_R
LG_SC_Rail_CurveSML_L

Seem to have imaginary rail about size of whole block space so it will go stright and de-rail.
If i help with gyros on train to copy model shape, then the LG_SC_Rail_CurveSML_M will catch and train continue on that rail until again go to LG_SC_Rail_CurveSML_L block or LG_SC_Rail_CurveSML_R.


Can you look into script of that blocks?

As LG_SC_Rail_CurveSML_M (middle part) seems to be unaffected by KeeN updates.

@FallenSungGaming Shao is still around. He's not modding anymore, instead he's working on something called Project Universe. On his Patreon he does mention something about coming back to continue SE mods even though he doesn't play anymore

I tried to assemble like the vid. showed. one block space between, found out you can't make a right turn in the track.. (Won't line up, tried All track segments from both ends still not even close..
So when I gave up on that, built just a straight track. could only go about 15-20 blocks then the car would fall down on one side and wouldn't move... so I would say IF this works it would be nice to add a little more detailed instruction in the parts and how to place them.. also why is the one more right track seg. then left?

@DraygoKorvan any plan on releasing FBX files so i can fix collision model of few blocks?

1x1 small rail having 0 tolerrance if you try push it with piston between two grids with rail.
The block will not fit in.
Also i will make 1x3 rail rotated by 22.5° and 45° angle as curved rails will throw train out of track.

Monorail Train is possible but i find out curve blocks are totally broken in this mod also rail status lights no longer work.

Must say neat mod for tight spaces. Using small rail on rotor you can make tram monorail.
I found out the "middle" part or small curve Left-Middle-Right de-rail any cab that pass on it (Bug)

Hope you add T or just L versions or the X part switching like
(┼ = ┤ +├ +┌ + ┐ + └ + ┘) so i can rotate cab in tight spaces.
X part is very good for rotating cab that has only 2 points.

Also Small 5x1 rail for Large grid will be great 5x5x5 = 1x1x1 Large block.

Hey @DraygoKorvan why don't you get the models from the Hoverrail mod? That mod actually works incredibly well even with single tracks and is overall pretty stable and very easy to tune, maybe you could just take that mod over completely since it is now not maintained?

Well it's the features this mod adds that are the primary focus,

Keeping the models and geometry as simple as possible, and possibly even re-using stock texture assets, will make this mod less of a hassle to update,

It would be cool if this or something like it was brought back around, but I understand it being quite the project. I do want to learn how to make mods such as this, and if I can, maybe bring old mods like this back around ( with permission of course)

This mod is very old, and very broken people, i do not advise using it
