Not to take away from bg but someone else made a WOTC version inspired by this mod.

Hey, just wanted to say that I really love this mod, and I was wondering if you were planning to update it for WotC?

FYI, in case this helps, in WotC it can currently be researched & equipped as normal. When you try to fire it the blue targetting line appears correctly, but it displays no red AOE sphere and when it fires it does no damage (though the firing & travel animations still work).

I realise you have rather a lot of mods and this probably isn't high on your priority list, but I do hope you can get to it at some point :)

For an idea of what s T3 Grenade Launcher could look like, maybe it could have a circular drum and sleek appearance, just like the Plasma Weapons.

That's due to the blaster grenade launcher initialize the icons before the LW perks did then, I already have it at a relatively low priority so it's more likely that the LW perk pack had those abilities' priority too low.

Additionally, it doesn't work with the X-Skin system, as there's no other T3 Grenade launchers.

I've had problems with the Grenade launcher not allowing me to use Flashbangs. One of my LW_Grenadiers has the Flashbanger and Sting Grenade perks, and I have a flashbang in his inventory, yet I'm unable to use them. I'm hoping this is a bug, and something that can be fixed.

PSA: After thorough testing, I've confirmed that this mod now causes the Mac OSX version of the game to crash on startup since you updated it for the March 10 PC patch. Unfortunately, that patch has not yet been applied to Mac. As soon as it is, I will reinstall this mod to see whether it's working again.

I don't know how easy that is but there's a Blaster Launcher in XCOM1, maybe that model could be ported. Might look a bit out of place though.

Grenades launchers and blaster launchers from EU worked very differently, but it's actually still easy to port the targeting method, literally just copy from the current blaster launcher in game. The only challenge here is how the launch grenade ability gets associated with the equipped grenades, after I figured out how they get linked, I made a quick hack to make it work with the new launch grenade ability.

Sounds interesting! Any way you could maybe put up a small clip showing how it works? The grenade going around something to target? If not, no big deal. This just sounds cool.

Did you make your own code for this or use the code for the blaster launcher from EU?
