Ok so I used this mod and saddly I could not hear anything. so i have to thumb this down. up the voulme and I will most defently change my vote.

centering the channels seems to be as simple as making the sounds mono. Another voice pack I use had similar issues and when he switched to mono rather than stereo, the lines all came from center channel :)

Updating a bit further tonight, done a couple of edits to the sound. Still working on Centering the channels of the sound for surround sound setups.

Some of the lines are too quiet. Seems like an especially good pack, otherwise. Will keep an eye on this, for sure!

Thanks for the feedback Scotsman, When i find some time i'll try and standardise the volume and see if i can centre the channels.

If you can find a way of normalizing all the lines so they have similar volumes, I would resub right away! I really want to have Mal in my squad :)

I know mate, I'm an audiophile and a musician, it's not easy to do this sort of thing. If you could adjust some of the volume levels and centre the channels so it's coming from centre channel in surround systems, it would be great. I didn't mean to sound so negative but reading my comment i sound like a douche. Maybe there are more lines, I just didn't use it long enough because I couldn't understand what he was saying. Thanks for responding and not reacting badly to my shitty comment.

Sorry you found it disappointing scotsman. It has lots of lines and i would argue most of mal's classic lines. If you can think of one i missed i can add it. I agree on the Volume levels. The thing is that firefly is a show with alot of subtlety and you don't realise how quiet some of the most powerful lines are and how much music and sound is intermingled with it. If you don't believe me try creating it for yourself - the modding is easy its the sound editing which is hard!

I was hoping this would be good but it's awful. Bad quality, variying volume levels, not very good lines either :( shame really

Castle or Firefly phrase?

@Ernerd Schwerznger a Jayne voice pack would be AWESOME!! I can just imagine him saying stuff like "let's be bad guys" and "sure would be nice if we had some grenades don't ya think?"

I am a HUGE firefly and Nathan Fillion fan so I'm going to try this out!

Beautiful. I too have been using the Halo Fillion pack - even though I never played the game, it's still my boy Nate (and still hilarious). I look forward to using this one! If you plan to do more, a Jayne/Adam Baldwin VP would be more than welcome.

I agree with Inflammaboyle .. this does not exclude this voice pack simpley give a diffrent set of voice lines from a dirffrent character..

Confused as to why that that makes me screwed. Working on this for my own enjoyment and thought I would share. But I've seen the pack and it's well done but it's still not what I wanted. If someone makes a better Mal I'd subscribe til then I'll work on getting the best content I can.

Sorry for your issue kdmiller. As you can see below the initial change caused people issues but i've since corrected this. I am sorry if you downloaded whilst i was rectifying the issue. First time modder and the tools aren't working perfectly yet.

Right not sure if it needs that in the mod name or the steam title name (they are separate entities near as i can tell) so i've corrected the modname if that don't work we'll try the other one.

Yeh this was done with lines from the first 2 episodes so far. I have to watch episodes real time to capture. I think I captured a couple of lines from our Mrs Reynolds as well but certainly no further than that. It's very much a work in progress.

There are many, many good lines to choose from.
