I do recommend using the Mistress for melee type characters (cause she sadly has pretty few lines), I am quite happy with the Shroud, but he too has more lines for some classes than others. Both are a bit 'quiet' - but that's not unsuitable.

It isn't updated for the purpose, but I still use it in my games, WOTC. Seems to work for me.

Since Silver Shroud is Male and Mysteries is female I thought it would be economical to have them combined.

Just posting to say that even though it is not updated in a while, the mod still works, compatible even with War of the Chosen dlc.

How the hell do you have 706 mods loaded, what do you use?!

no its not. i have 706 mods loaded. its not the game its not the mods. its you. did you delete your configs. Go to my documents, my games, xcom 2, and delete all the configs. If it doesn'ts work you aren't deleteing everything. be careful about just blaming the only mod out there that is offically supported by, and actually paid by, Firaxis.

Could it be that the long war is no longer supported?

It does load, but if I select any meny (other than the character thingy) it goes CTD with some very pixelized error message. But also with the character menu thingy it goes CTD when I return to main menu - so I guess it is something with the main menu, or the immediate stuff around the core files that is corrupted or something. Or maybe more likely it is something with the graphics and rendering

oh the game itself doesn't load? did you delte configs in my documents? are you using compatibility mode for windows 8? are you using alrenate mod loader?

@Trapster17 - that would be fun, but don't think I can work that into a voicepack. I guess you'll just have to avoid sneaking.

i some how feel that if the silver shroud came on these missions the enemy would know immediately where the team was :D

The voice sounds great, but the videos are REALLY quiet.

Updated now with the Mistress of Mysteries integrated. Sounds good to me, but comments are appreciated.

OK; I gave shadowplay a second chance, and it is in a good mood today. I will serve you a couple decent preview vids today.
Also I noticed a couple of improvements to be made. Shroud says watch me kind'a a lot, and I wanna reduce that line's frequency, also I will edit some other stuff - like the listening cue.

Ah, I see. I like to use OBS (Open Broadcasting Software). If you have the non-prototype version, it works very nicely for recording both sound and video (the only issue I have is finding better editing software, as Microsoft Movie Maker bloats everything's file size and is pretty sub-par in features). As -bg- said, the AMD recording software works pretty well, but I have no experience with Shadowplay. Hope that helps!

for recording, use amd gaming evolved if you are using AMD card, Nvidia shadowplay if using nvidia card, fraps if you don't mind using free trials with 30 seconds limit

I use Audacity, the sound in the preview is, as I stated, not representative to the sound in-game. It is the frickin' video recording software's fault. Used Audacity - it is grand. Can that record video as well??

If you need better editing/recording software, I would suggest Audacity. I use it for my voice acting and editing, with pretty good results.

Gotta say, if you are not familiar with the Silver Shroud, you have not been killing people, cheating off your taxes, or told lies- ever. But seriously, Silver Shroud is based upon a 50s fictional private eye character, and it is in that genre. High Silly factor. Gonna make a preview, but it is a bit tiresome, and the software is poor (skittish frames, and metallic voice capture). So, for those that know Silver; it is good, no need for a preview, cause its just as it is in the broadcast. All the lines. And if you are not familiar with him, you are probably not that interested in any case.

Thought about integrating Mistress of Mystery as the female voice. But there aint that many lines to sample of her, sadly. But maybe I'll get to it later.
