Hi, antag and everyone else. Since you don't seem to be active here anymore, I released a version of this mod with some changes and bug fixes. Hope you don't mind.

Is this mod still being supported? It would be nice to have a fix for the aforementioned Monst3r issue as well as some other stuff. If you don't do it, maybe someone else can?

Not having to hear Central's complaining at the end of every "botched" mission where I didn't find the augment drill is... SO. ****. GOOD.

As seen in this video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZGPw63UIlR8) at the start, the game 'softlocks' (becomes un-interactible) at the start of the mid-game Research Facility mission added in the DLC (the first of the 2 missions with Monst3r).

As explained by one commenter, this is because the game is programmed to wait until you close the first dialogue window before spawning in Monst3r. Since the dialogue window is no longer there, the game never spawns Monst3r and goes on softlock.

So I would suggest to the mod author to maybe try to put an exception for this particular dialogue or just have the game consider the dialogue being closed automatically (latter being preferable of course)?
If neither is possible, I would prefer if the author mentions this case in the mod description above so that players don't think that the mod is bugged.

@antag99: Thanks for making this, after a few playthroughs it's really nice to be able to not have to constantly cancel out of the mission intros and between-mission plot.

Two small bugs:
1. There's a level-start conversation between Sharpe and Internationale. He speaks, she says (roughly) "Don't forget these regular people make your tech.", he speaks, and she says "I need a new partner". I saw her two messages at the start of a level with pauses for Sharpe's lines.
2. In Endless mode, after day 3 all the missions were cleared and there was a single plot mission to fly to, like in the regular campaign. It started with my three agents standing around but I couldn't interact with the game - couldn't click them, rotate the camera, tab between, etc. I thought the game bugged, closed it, reopened it, and returned to the level to find Monst3r there. Maybe it was just waiting on the intro plot or character dialogue and it would've continued if I'd been more patient, I dunno.

@antag99 thanks for info! Sounds like this mod is the opposite of what I want, so I'll remove it for now. (No offense! -- and thanks for the help -- maybe when I'm more experienced and the dialogue becomes annoying to me, I'll come back to it.) :-)

@brainslugs83: You can disable the chattering on the agent screen by unchecking the central commentary box; what this mod does is disabling the in-game dialogues.

It doesn't seem to work. I checked the box, but when I get to the agent screen and I start clicking agents, she's still chattering away. -_-u

Seconding the very rude rabbit below me.
I haven't even played the game that long, and while the dialogue is top notch, it still becomes annoying to hear the same lines repeated. It takes a while to skip through the dialogue between missions, and on the character select screen I find it hard to read about the characters while Central is talking. However, like the rabbit below me, I'd very much like to still be able to get the banter from my agents, when I start the mission, as I'm certain I haven't seen it all yet.
Perhaps divide the mod into two or three game options - one that allows you to disable/enable the agent banter at mission start, and then one or two options to disable Central's character profiles and/or the between-mission dialogue.

could there be an option to still allow agents to have conversations at the start of missions and just make central and monster shut up. because the conversations arent always the exact same i still find them interesting

What a welcome mod. Thank you for it.
I've noticed two bugs:
1) Sometimes at the start of a mission, two agents have a little conversation (such as Internationale and Banks). This mod only disables the first part of the conversation.
2) This mod messes up the special missions where Monst3r teleports in at the start and basically freezes the game. Simply restarting and reloading the game fixes that, though.

@Mogelix: I've found the dialogues become a real annoyance after playing through the game many times. That's why I made this mod.
