The Atlas Enthusiast 14 Mar, 2018 @ 5:42am

MrEvan312  [author] 26 Feb, 2018 @ 1:53pm
Just sub to it and add it to the world.
The Atlas Enthusiast 26 Feb, 2018 @ 1:41pm
Thank You Mr. Evan, but the mod is loaded but the thruster it's self isn't loaded in and i can't find it in the G-menu
MrEvan312  [author] 23 Feb, 2018 @ 9:18pm
It's the Imhoptep Thruster by Sektan.
The Atlas Enthusiast 23 Feb, 2018 @ 2:17pm

I have only posted ship for my friends on the WS until they are final. one ship has been a huge expensive project. But man is that thing going to be a monster when it is final. Just when I think I'm done with modifications, new idea comes up. It's amazing what the human mind can create.
Capt.Jack021 10 May, 2016 @ 8:21pm
I use the CSD battle cannnons. I cant wait to get all my ships set up in the manner that makes them look less blocky. A friend of mine says that most of my ships have a stealth bomber design. Such as my new corvette. It's set up in the similar way Stealth Aircraft are built.
MrEvan312  [author] 10 May, 2016 @ 8:19pm
Mine is pretty nice. It can kill or at the very least cripple any of my builds. It also can fire twice in five seconds.
Capt.Jack021 10 May, 2016 @ 8:16pm
But it's pretty slow. So there is a chance It can get out of the way. but anything within a 100-200m diameter of the impact will go up with it. so it's pretty damn OP. I stoped using it because its just a SUPER TROLL I KILL YOUR FLEET KMs AWAY trololol.
Capt.Jack021 10 May, 2016 @ 8:13pm
There is a mod for a UNSC Super MAC. It can blow my hole Captial Crusier to only slabs of armor. Litterally.
MrEvan312  [author] 10 May, 2016 @ 8:10pm
Basically the surest way for a ship to survive the impact of a Mk. V round is to have NO shields, so the round will go clean through, but with the precise aiming of the ODP's the shot will land in a critical area so yeah... no hope for the vainglorious Covenant onboard.
Capt.Jack021 10 May, 2016 @ 8:08pm
Lets see those capital ships survive that sh*t. Super MAC will punch a hole clean through.
MrEvan312  [author] 10 May, 2016 @ 8:06pm
Well actually that is exactly what makes the MAC so effective at draining shields. The sheer amount of speed, momentum and weight is immediately converted to heat because of friction, like how bullets spark off of armor. The amount of energy needed to completely block this attack is tolling on reactors, even on Covenant ships.

Like for the Mk. V Super MAC's, even if the shields could generate enough power to completely block the attack, the heat produced would fry the ship to a crisp and everyone in it.
Capt.Jack021 10 May, 2016 @ 6:47pm
true. It is only good for heating surface objects. but in a way that could have been used to maybe weaken the shields. We really have no idea how the Covenant ships Sheilds hold against Heat weapons
MrEvan312  [author] 10 May, 2016 @ 6:43pm
Turning a laser into a weapon is actually harder than one would think. Takes a rediculous amount of energy, a fairly delicate system and a lot of chemicals. Lasers are best suited to heating up incoming ordenance to explode midflight (the Israelies are actually replacing their Iron Dome missile setup with lasers). With the technological stagnation, humans basically stuck with the system that works the best. Rail/coil weapons and missiles are far more plausible than weaponized lasers. Even the Covenant do not use "lasers" but plasma and they use freaking magnetism to propel that!
Capt.Jack021 10 May, 2016 @ 6:34pm
Makes Sense. But we currently do have Laser Weapons. So I acnt really see why we dont have any of those on ships. Conventional weapons may have done more damage to ships. Seeing as Human ships only use Titanium Battle Plate, and Steel. compared to the Nanotanium I think it is called on the Covenant ships. Nuclear bombs couldnt really damage the armor with their shields up. Lighter CCS Crusiers may have gotten knocked out. But in general, there is really nothing a UNSC ship could do to kill a Covenant ship. the only gun that could Penatrate the ship in one shot was of course the MAC. How the shields didnt protect form this weapons is beyond me. But its possible the shield is much like that of an Elites or Spartans armor. Absorb, but get drained then recharge. So the super High Velocity of a MAC which I think that fasted round fired out of one was MOC if Im spelling it right 17.

The way I see it, the 500 years from today to first contact seems more tailored around the amount of time it would take to colonize other areas of the galaxy, although the tech curve DOES seem a little slow for that amount of time. I think humanity kinda stagnated like in Star Trek, there didn't seem much else left to do and we didn't really NEED new tech since what we had was good enough to fight ourselves. Once the Covenant came along, so did that need to advance. That's just the way I see it.
Capt.Jack021 10 May, 2016 @ 10:24am
I am well aware that guided missiles were not around during the 1200's but dont you think that 1300 years would allow the Human race to have weapons not the much different from the Covenant. I understand its a game but I like to science the crap out of somethings. I can see Ship Shields not being there yet, that would be hard enough. The most powerful weapon that we both know the UNSC has is its MAC gun. But even then. 1300 years later we have Space warships, but the most powerful weapons uses kinetic energy. And in some ships takes a long time to reload.

The covie ship was docked for repairs and couldn't leave for a short time limit while the inhabitants rushed the repairs.

Letting you know, huge difference between a 13th century rocket (that is when they were first used) and a 25th century guided missile. A rocket, for one, is unguided, and the rockets back then were essentially fireworks designed to set things on fire, not to explode. An Archer missile is a large missile that is electronically guided with a range of thousands of miles and the explosive power to blast through armor.

These were also NOT the main armament, they were secondary to the much more powerful and advanced MAC. Missiles are also very dependable, fairly cheap to make, and function well even in space.
MrEvan312  [author] 9 May, 2016 @ 10:28pm
Ship was undergoing repairs. And I don't think they had huge guided missiles in the 1200's.
Capt.Jack021 9 May, 2016 @ 8:57pm
Covenant ship is repairing in dock Correct. Even though 3 UNSC ships are approching, It still remains Maybe I missed something but I was near the end I was watching the part two just before I talked to you. Figured I'd comp you on the vid it was pretty good., but still. They may not have a good detection, sarcastically. But oh well what ever makes it fair. UNSC in a straight find coulnt win unless they something like the infinite. Also. UNSC Humans still use mainly Rockets and the same type of weapons that we started to use sometime between the 1200's and 1400's and its over 1,000 years later and we still use that tech in Halo. Star Trek, Humans develop Energy weapons and Energy shields a little more than 200 years from now. Kind of funny. because today we have lasers though all they do today is heat the surface of objects. Any way sorry for the miss under standing. I sometimes have to say something twice to get what I mean to say out more clearly. And btw good job on the ships.
MrEvan312  [author] 9 May, 2016 @ 8:13pm
Well, we won round two...
Capt.Jack021 9 May, 2016 @ 8:06pm
You know, I've seen a few of your vids, UNSC vs The Covenant. of course UNSC lost xD
