Right, you should link the armor and helmet parts to the correct bones manually. You just need to find the right bone.

You can try using "Wow Model Viewer"

Export the models and animations in FBX format wich you can then import into your desired modelling program.

I don't know what to say about invisible models - all of the assets should still be present in this mod.

@Morticio - I would recommend contacting WollieWoltaz for porting Warcraft 3 assets to AoM. He can also help you with portraits.

Una consulta, es posible que a dia de hoy, las unidades the la Horda o de la Alianza aparezcan en el juego invisibles? descargue tambien el UMC High Priority y con eso aparecieron los nombres de las unidades en el editor, pero al seleccionar alguna son invisibles, puede ser que a dia de hoy 22/3/2023 este mod ya no funcione o me falta bajar algo extra ademas de suscribirse a los articulos

Hi, my units for some reason stopped appearing in the editor, the pre-placed ones disapeared, but the ones i putted in the techtree are still trainable, but don´t appear in the editor, do you know what it could be?

That's because most/all of the character models have a high specular color defined within there materials, that's why they look so shiny.
It can only be fixed by using external tools.

My units capes are like glowy it looks like rubber ish, anyone know why? is there a setting that does this or?

Well i don't... but maybe someone else made these characters trainable but they should ask for permission of the original creator to upload such kind of mod.
You can do it yourself though by editing the protox and techtree file.

Good luck for the fix. A solution would be awesome, as I asume this trigger loop to be the easiest way to "recruit" mod units in game.

I reproduced this issue for looped trigger effects that use UMC objects. It seems that these effects have trouble recognizing new proto objects which causes a crash. I'm not sure how to fix this. Somehow, I need to add the UMC units to a proto list that the triggers use.

Oh, thank you, for answering my comment. I just run two mods (three, if you count UMC High Priority) simultaneously: Warcraft Alliance and Warcaft Horde. In my scenario two types of trigger loops are permanently active: First, the effect "Change units in area" whose function I've explained below, and second the effect "Damage units in area" which is also running the whole time and deals 3000 damage to several mythical units. The intention was e.g. to prevent the Alliance faction from obtaining auto-spawn myth units that are also unable to recruit via "Forbid and disable unit".

I will try to reproduce the issue. Are you runnning any other mods? Are there any triggers in your scenario that fire around the time of the crash?

It's a very cool modification you've done here although I've got a problem with it. I've tried to use it in a custom scenario with some triggers that transform default units like hoplites instantly into mod units like the Alliance Footman (used a trigger loop). Everything worked well but after ca. 10-20 minutes while playing the scenario, the game is always crashing without any crash report, it's just getting closed, so to say. I've experienced the same issue with other mods which are connected to UMC High Priority as well.

Make sure you have the master installed (UMC High Priority). Its in the required box.

Wollie and Dean were trying to get the Lich King to work but it was either lagging to much or crashing EE. IIRC it works fine in vanilla AoM.

Hey, after looking through the comments I saw the solution to my problem (Units werent showing up in editor) and I really think you should but the High priority mod in the description as a requirement.

@evilytwisted - As Wollie said, these units are only accessible in the editor. I know phdorogers4 was working on some scens with the WoW units a while back. The UMC mods were designed specifically to be easy to use for scenario designers so if you want to use them in a scen, please do so and remember to credit the right people

You need to subscribe to UMC High Priority before any UMC mods will work. High Priority has all the data and language files and all the rest of the UMC mods have the bigger models, textures, etc. This makes it easier for me to update the collection and makes it so you don't need to worry about keeping the most recent UMC mod at highest priority.

Change the proto2.2.xml from the alliance faction pack to protox.xml
that should do the trick, it worked for me at least. Now they all show up!

It keeps saying that the Mod is Broken and the units don't show up in the editor
