Modify the police_data file in notepad and just set all illegal trailer fines to 0. worked for me at least.
killjoy 22 Jun @ 6:06am
Was a great mod but most of the changes don't work anymore.
Humanman 6 Apr @ 8:58pm
I never get Fined anymore except for crashes, even when I run red light with a camera
noran18 30 Mar @ 2:19am
Автор,можешь ли ты изменить цену штрафов? За 8 миль с меня содрали почти 400 долларов. Для новой игры это весь мой заработок.
noran18 27 Mar @ 3:39am
please update to the new version.
twitch.tv/franzsoftgamer 1 Feb @ 5:22am
There is no version of this mod for ets 2
witur 30 Jan @ 12:13pm
This mod now has a bug after updating. When entering California with a lowered flatbed trailer, the fine for the incorrect trailer begins to be charged very quickly, so that in a few seconds it amounts to several hundred thousand USD and continues to be charged. Without the mod, there is no penalty.
I guess it's about the distance of the trailer's axle from its end, but this trailer cannot be adjusted, the distance is constant.
Is there anything that can be done about it, because you have to drive with traffic violations disabled?
Iommonaut 5 Dec, 2024 @ 10:13am
Just tried on 1.53 and it seems to work fine.
Iommonaut 4 Dec, 2024 @ 4:30am
I don't think it needs an update does it?
rcthardcore 29 Nov, 2024 @ 4:17pm
Hope this gets updated for v1.53
chermet.1q 1 Sep, 2024 @ 10:51am
Hi there! I'd like to modify sleeping related settings. How can I do this?
SteveBuscemisCousin 1 Sep, 2024 @ 4:23am
I love this mod but there seems to be a bug with the larger gas tanker trailers, the bigger gas tankers pay less overall than the smaller ones, I can try to grab a screenshot if you'd like
Janu Hull 25 Aug, 2024 @ 7:41pm
Can this mod be added to a game in progress, or a new one only?
makdayzcorporation 12 Aug, 2024 @ 8:51am
Okay when you say the Simulation average speed increased by 4mph.what dose this mean ?

And what is special_event_data changes:referring too ?
Robin Banks 7 Aug, 2024 @ 9:34am
Yup, would appreciate a ETS - version too !!!
Tech*******711 3 Aug, 2024 @ 8:09pm
Bro is this also available in ETS2 ? It's a must have MOD. Like a said before I would not play any other way. I just pray that after the next update the MOD works or I stop playing the game. Thank you so so much !!!
Tech*******711 3 Aug, 2024 @ 7:53pm
I would not play any other way. Thank you so much !!
Ologyny 3 Aug, 2024 @ 12:23pm
Does this change how much the AI drivers make or just the player?
ravensview 7 Jul, 2024 @ 2:00pm
BTW - I assume this mod doesn't change the SCS ingame sleep algorithm?
ravensview 7 Jul, 2024 @ 1:49pm
Yes, so I call it a driving window. Works well for me, lets me plan trips.
ptr1ck  [author] 6 Jul, 2024 @ 3:12pm
It's not just sleep, but federally mandated downtime.
ravensview 5 Jul, 2024 @ 1:41pm
@lodnaid Teller - I used to enable in-game sleep, but it would keep sliding until I was having to take a long break mid-day. So it's off now, and I have a manual 6am to 8pm driving window. I find a spot before 8pm, then use the g_set_time command to jump to morning
Iognaid Teller 4 Jul, 2024 @ 5:07pm
I do not understand why the Mod forces the hours of sleep to 10h. Those hours are the normal game hours, and by forcing them, it prevents to use Sleep Less mods. Could you adjust this? Or is there any possibility to reduce the sleep time in the mod? It doesn't make any sense to use a Realism mod and increase the economic difficulty, but you have to sleep like an elephant (nobody sleeps 10h, let alone a freelancer).
ravensview 13 Jun, 2024 @ 8:31pm
Cargo rate revenue per mile has been lowered - how does that relate to cargo rates?
ptr1ck  [author] 13 Jun, 2024 @ 9:50am
I don't touch fuel prices and I don't touch individual cargo rates with this mod.
ravensview 13 Jun, 2024 @ 7:50am
I assume, since it's not mentioned, that fuel prices are not tweaked?
para1us 8 Jun, 2024 @ 6:01am
i would love it BUT i seen a load going 28 miles paying 0.17 for 255 bucks thats when u take 255 / 28 miles thats 9.11 amile not 0.17
Maxeza 2 Jun, 2024 @ 6:24am
Great update
ptr1ck  [author] 31 May, 2024 @ 7:42pm
Final overall piece to the big update!

-Removed level based fine system. (Fines are lower and match the list in description.)
-Made speeding fines much more realistic. ($100 + about $8/mph over.)
-Made speed camera chance 100% again. (Since we lowered the fines and this was obviously preventing some speed traps from triggering.)

I feel really good about where the mod is currently and do not foresee any more balance changes in the future unless SCS changes something drastically. I hope you all enjoy the extra funds you will have available since these tweaks and can grow your companies more with the higher credit limits. :steerme:
ptr1ck  [author] 30 May, 2024 @ 6:03pm
Thank you, Ogu! The packaged bank.sii file coincides with what the mod is supposed to be doing. You ought to have a million dollar loan available if the mod is working correctly for you. Verify that this mod has priority in the load order. It looks to be working on my end but I also only run this mod that affects economy. :steerme:
Ollie 30 May, 2024 @ 1:31pm
Hi! Love your mod! I experience one issue atm. Suddenly (no mod changes or anything) the bank loans are back to the base game ones. It worked for me for a very long time. Is it a known issue or is my own mistake?
ptr1ck  [author] 29 May, 2024 @ 4:25am
You're very welcome. :steerme:
bdubs1113 28 May, 2024 @ 11:25pm
I really like it! Payouts that used to be $45K are like 6K now and it just adds that realism into the game. I turned fines off years ago (I think they were kind of buggy then) because I'd be getting a fine EVERY TIME I went even a mph over the speed limit even if there wasn't a cop around. And I was getting tired of being fined for collisions caused by the AI that randomly stop on the interstate. With how this mod adjusts the payouts and for how the credit limit system work, it really makes me want to start a new game. With the old economy, you could have your own tricked out truck after an hour of doing quick deliveries (if you didn't get a loan before that) and there's not much work you'd have to do to get that point which isn't at all realistic. Thanks for your work!
ptr1ck  [author] 28 May, 2024 @ 4:26pm
It's been pretty solid for a while. The latest update was focused on fines and expanding the credit limits mostly. I also made a change to help recover more money when doing truck upgrades.
bdubs1113 28 May, 2024 @ 3:33pm
About to start using this but just want to say thank you!! The bigger you expand obviously the more money you make but at the crazy payouts it's starting to take the fun out of the game when you are able to expand 2-3 garages per in game day and this mod will help a lot from all I've read into it.
ptr1ck  [author] 27 May, 2024 @ 12:46pm
Hey Shed. It's a bit of oversight for me on that one. I did intentionally remove the low level credit limit to force more company driving through the levels. However, I will update "very soon" and add back in a $150,000 credit limit for level 2. :steerme:
Shedwizard 27 May, 2024 @ 11:21am
Hey, so if anyone else has had the same loan issue I mentioned, I found a temporary work-around. I switched the mod off, took a non-mod loan, switched back to the mod, paid off the loan immediately with the loan funds. After doing this, the mod loans were available to me. Hope this helps!
Shedwizard 27 May, 2024 @ 8:57am
Did the update break bank loans? I started a new campaign and I'm currently level 2. My borrow limit is $0. Is this working as intended and I'll be able to take a loan at a higher level? Or is this broken?
Maxeza 27 May, 2024 @ 1:12am
Thanks for update!

ptr1ck When do you come out with Ultra Hard Mode (Bidenomics Special Edition)? Where Jeremy Powell's interest rate hikes are integrated into the loans? :steamsalty:
BoB 25 May, 2024 @ 8:08pm
Throw in better rates for JCB, Creator
ptr1ck  [author] 25 May, 2024 @ 5:33pm
While I appreciate those details, this mod doesn't touch individual rates. That would be a HUGE undertaking that I don't have that much free time to maintain.

This mod, in essence, changes the percentage of overall profits and what-not. It's a simplified way of doing things that gets us in the ballpark of realistic compared to the default game play. This is why boom-lifts were reported to be way out of whack and rates are still not super-simulation level. At least they are not $30 per mile or more like the base game.

I'm trying to refine the mod a bit more on the loans and fines and garage production front. Please look at https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/workshop/filedetails/discussion/646519799/4334230222057241668/ for more details on what I'm referring to.
witur 25 May, 2024 @ 11:59am
Would it be possible to reduce the differences in transport prices between individual goods? Large differences mean that nowadays, if you want to earn as much as possible in real life, you almost always carry 2-3 types of goods, because others are not profitable. This is especially true when goods are transported on open platform trailers.
ptr1ck  [author] 23 May, 2024 @ 6:44am
I'm looking for feedback for a new update. Please refer to the discussion above.
ptr1ck  [author] 17 May, 2024 @ 5:48am
Witur, if I recall correctly, the trucks are level locked by part. That would require a parts mod which can be pretty extensive and have compatibility issues and I'm just not going there. I'm sure there is one out there you could try though.
witur 17 May, 2024 @ 12:30am
It looks like everything is fine. Rates for transporting basket lifts also (probably improved by the game creators).
Would you be able to implement unlocking all levels of trucks and trailers from the very beginning into your mod? In real life, the purchase of a truck is not blocked by the level of the driver, but by the available money. It would be nice if the mod took this into account.
Strelok 16 May, 2024 @ 3:59pm
I'm having loss with AI drivers. Any tips?
