Modify the police_data file in notepad and just set all illegal trailer fines to 0. worked for me at least.
I guess it's about the distance of the trailer's axle from its end, but this trailer cannot be adjusted, the distance is constant.
Is there anything that can be done about it, because you have to drive with traffic violations disabled?
And what is special_event_data changes:referring too ?
-Removed level based fine system. (Fines are lower and match the list in description.)
-Made speeding fines much more realistic. ($100 + about $8/mph over.)
-Made speed camera chance 100% again. (Since we lowered the fines and this was obviously preventing some speed traps from triggering.)
I feel really good about where the mod is currently and do not foresee any more balance changes in the future unless SCS changes something drastically. I hope you all enjoy the extra funds you will have available since these tweaks and can grow your companies more with the higher credit limits.
This mod, in essence, changes the percentage of overall profits and what-not. It's a simplified way of doing things that gets us in the ballpark of realistic compared to the default game play. This is why boom-lifts were reported to be way out of whack and rates are still not super-simulation level. At least they are not $30 per mile or more like the base game.
I'm trying to refine the mod a bit more on the loans and fines and garage production front. Please look at https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/workshop/filedetails/discussion/646519799/4334230222057241668/ for more details on what I'm referring to.
Would you be able to implement unlocking all levels of trucks and trailers from the very beginning into your mod? In real life, the purchase of a truck is not blocked by the level of the driver, but by the available money. It would be nice if the mod took this into account.
