Such a shame... I hope that when an actually new update with new weapons ever comes out (if it ever will), that this gets brought back.
+ All rounds reload at one time")
The reason that there is not mod available for download of this weapon, is that it relies heavily on the unused animations in the game files. Due to how different the animation rig for those animations are compared to the stock animations, the rifle will break apart and float weirdly.
If we were to mod release it we would have to take the time to recompile it without all of its custom bones and stuff, and make it just use the bolt like the stock rifles do. Ertz is very busy with his school studies, and I am also heavily preoccupied with other life related things, so all I can do is simply ask that you wait patiently.
Ertz and I have plans to mod release most of our "recent" submissions as mods, but we simply don't have the time right now. So, please understand that we want to do it, we are just very busy.
I see no reason why you couldn't use the older one, its not like we've banned the use of it in media or anything.
The only reason why the newer one isn't available as a mod right now is because we have to basically re-rig the whole thing to the base animations, because of how different the weapon rigs are.
While its not overly time consuming, Ertz and I have been rather busy recently, either with school or other projects of ours. So i hope you understand why we haven't released it yet.
~Cheers.
Originally during development of the item we had multiple designs with engravings and grip details, however the community of other item designers that we work within all agreed that it would look better as a plain and simple design, as no matter the type of design or engraving, it was seen as too noisy.
So we decided that it would be best to work with the unanimous opinion in mind, and so we removed the engravings. Its about as simple as that, no offense to anyone who would think it look better with engravings, but it'll probably stay that way unless Valve themselves were to suggest it.
