stopped working since the last update for me. anybody else have the same issue?
Hirnsausen 2 Jul, 2019 @ 1:15am
Thanks for the answer about the LCD camera. Performance depends on computer specs. My computer can handle this. Just in case you want to create this mod still! :-D

About your existing mod: I installed it, but the cameras are still not clear, still the same overlay.
Zanzikahn  [author] 18 Jun, 2019 @ 10:15am
From what I remember, having a "security camera display was too much for the game to handle with so many processes being handled already. The only thing I can think of is a very low frame rate camera display that has something like 30-45 seconds between frames taken, but I very much doubt you want some janky camera like that.
Hirnsausen 16 Jun, 2019 @ 6:05pm
I just tried, but still get that overlay that looks like some bluish pattern.

But also wondering, if you could create a mod that live-streams the content of selected cameras to an LCD display. One camera to one LCD, or even a divided view on one LCD that shows contents of many different cameras (like a security center)? Of if you know of any mod doing the one or other thing, can you let me know? Big thanks!

This just removes the obscured vanilla overlay when viewing in camera mode.
Hirnsausen 15 Jun, 2019 @ 2:17am
Can it stream on LCD displays? That's what many want, me too.

Sorry, Mod is Stable.
F3RK0 13 Dec, 2016 @ 1:56pm
The mod is not working in Dev 165.
CID 23 Aug, 2016 @ 11:58pm
You're welcome... This mod is so a must have one ;)
Zanzikahn  [author] 23 Aug, 2016 @ 10:11am
oh wow, so must junk in the sbc file. I cleared up the file and it should not result in any conflicts now.
Zanzikahn  [author] 23 Aug, 2016 @ 9:56am
Thank you. I will look into that. As for the camera view range. The only real limitation is the view distance of the world being played on.
CID 23 Aug, 2016 @ 5:41am
PS : To "Increase Camera view range", just change the MinFov value in the def of the two blocks. A 0.01 value (vanilla : 0.1) is quite acceptable as the number of zoom steps doesn't change
CID 23 Aug, 2016 @ 5:29am
So, your mod IS affecting other mods if they try to override an other block and then your mod load after (because it redefine them)... I made the change to the sbc file (removing all block def but the two cam and positions too as you don't need to redefine the button position neither) and it work like a charm...
CID 23 Aug, 2016 @ 5:02am
Ok, just had open the mod package and you just override all block def in CubeBlocks.sbc with old default varriables. Please remove all def but the cam ones and it will be perfect.
CID 22 Aug, 2016 @ 12:57pm
Did done the test and confirm... The problem come from the mod apparently when charging wheels ???
CID 22 Aug, 2016 @ 4:29am
Hi, the mod seem actualy to desactivate the new block group selection (the one whith the mouse wheel). Have 21 mods running and did try to remove them all but it's could be a miss interraction with an other mod.

Anyway, still work like a charm if I don't wan't to use the block group system. Will try it alone to see and tell you.

Flying Dutch Man, instead of trying to discredit my mod, try doing an actual test... Your logic is completely flawed and non of your messages even make sense. I deleted all your messages because all you did was rant non sense with no actual evidence on how an overlay is affecting the other mods. If you competently tested, you would have realized those edge mods are jsut plainly broken. Don't believe me? Here is a screenshot of a world with ONLY the edge mod. If you want to persist your nonsense, I will be forced to report you and ban you from ever commenting on my mods. I don't mind fixing my mods, but making false accusations to libel my mod is pathetic. https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/profiles/76561198020479219/screenshot/275095970472980419
Zanzikahn  [author] 17 May, 2016 @ 4:45pm
Yes, there may be a conflict with other mods that also change the texture overlay for cameras. That is because multiple mods are trying to change the same texture. I would not recommend using it with other camera mods, but if you do wish to, ensure it is placed prior to the other camera mods in your list. Flying Dutch Man, I still don't get your issue. My mod does not affect the rendering of edges on armor blocks. XD
737✈Garrus 17 May, 2016 @ 12:19pm
That soap-ish stuff MUST be slippery! xD
Teneombre 17 May, 2016 @ 11:06am
I don't know why but the overlay seem to be the same than before (I suscribe and add it in my most list). The only conflict I can see is the docking camera mod but if they have an other overlay, it's probably because they didn't use the normal camera overlay so probably not modify it. (sorry for this english, it's not my native language).
Zanzikahn  [author] 17 May, 2016 @ 6:26am
Please do inform me how a changed texture overlay will break block mods.
Zanzikahn  [author] 17 May, 2016 @ 6:24am
Sorry man... But you are mistaken.. I feel it is very bold of you to make accusations about mods breaking mods without any clear evidence(or any evidence at all)... I can assure you my mod will NOT break any other mods.. All this mod does is change the overlay texture for cameras..
Zanzikahn  [author] 11 May, 2016 @ 10:43pm
lol, ty. :P
737✈Garrus 11 May, 2016 @ 11:44am
Haha cool pic!
Zanzikahn  [author] 4 May, 2016 @ 5:47pm
This is jsut a simple texture replacement mod. To have security cameras would go beyond the scope of what this mod is intended for.
