Not all of my mods are compatible with each other for obvious reasons. All of the UMC collection is mutually compatible by design.

Edit: Looking through I read some other answers, and found it wasn't compatabile with one of your other mods.

When I install any of the World of Warcraft stuff, it says on launch tha the mod is broken and should be unisntalled.

I would like to know if I can insert all Warcraft creatures / charaters, make them Trainable, create upgrades and release a Mod off course give you guys all the credits regarding the amazing Anims / Textures Etc.

Just want to make people able to use them and make a KickAss Mod.

I will wait for you reply to start the work

I'm not a modder or programmer in even the most basic sense of the word and teachnig me will probably be really frustrating but if you're willnig to do that then I'm happy to try learning XD

@Wuldraider - If that's one of Wollie's it might be too detailed for EE anyway. I think like only 6 of his currently work.

Getting HG mods to work with EE isn't as simple as moving files around. If you want me to teach you how to port mods to EE I will happily do so but not in this comment section. Just send me a request.

most of the mods there are for AOM:TT not AOM:EE, its a completely different process to install mods on these versions of the game, i've already replied to your comment on my AoW mod there too

Okay AOM Heaven is the worst thing ever, I find tons of incredible unit mods but I can't download them and any threads giving step by step instructions on how to do it make zero sense and so I'm completely stuck now and more frustrated than anything else with this site.

I got this game file to add an Archimonde Unit from Haven, I downloaded and unzipped the files but no matter where I put them he doesn't show up in my editor, can I get instructions on how to add mod units to my game? I'm absolutely hopeless at this kind of thing XD

In the Age of Warcraft mod data folder, there will already be a proto2.2.xml file. Open it and do a ctrl-f search for the name of the vanilla building you want the unit to be trainable from. Once you find the building, insert the following line of code:

<train row="x" page="z" column="y">name of your proto unit from the proto2.2 file</train>

The "z" number doesn't matter (just put 1). The "x" and "y" numbers and the position of the unit's button in the building's UI (pretty straightforward). Make sure you use the correct protoname for whatever unit you're making trainable.

To make units trainable in vanilla buildings, go to your data folder and the techtree2.2.xml file. Copy it and go to your mods folder, find this mod (or just any Age of Warcraft mod), open the data folder and paste the techtree2.2 doc there. Open the document in notepad or notepad++ (which I recommend you get, it's freeware and really usefull for coding xml and xs). The first thing you will see are entires for the four ages. Decide which age you want your unit to be trainable in and insert this line of code inside that age's techtree entry (between <effects> & </effects>):

<effect amount="1.00" relativity="Absolute" subtype="Enable" type="Data">
<target type="ProtoUnit">name of your proto unit from the proto2.2 file</target>
</effect>

Save and close. (cont.)

@Wuldraider - If you're using Chrome, go to settings>show advanced settings...>Privacy>uncheck box that says "protect you and your device from dangerous sites" then download the mod from HG (and recheck the box after).

Hey I tried going on Havengames for more of the Warcraft mods but for some reason my computor and my google chrome blocks everything on the site and I also can't find the guides to making units trainable in vanila buildings, can I get some help?

Awesome thank you, I was a bit annoyed by how puny humans could take on a large groups of Orcs all on their own. Hope I'm not being annoying with all my comments, hope I'm at least being slightly helpful to balance out how annoying I'm being XD

I think this is just because the orcs are classed as 'myth units' and some of the alliance units are given bonus attacks vs myth units, sure you can manually change this yourself in the protox files just by changing the armor stats (hack, pierce & crush) or even by changing the unit type from myth unit to human.

I actually wanted to copy from another mod originally that a friend of mine (Zaphragor) posted on heavengames called 'green horde' where his orcs actually gained attack and movement speed bonuses depending on how many other orcs were around them so the 'horde' would literally make each other stronger, you could even potentially copy this from his mod and transfer it over to your own protox file but as I've said before I can't update these files. Originally the alliance were the weakest faction but I did some rebalancing and this is just how they turned out lol..

Hey if I could comment I've noticed that all of the Human/Dwarven units are far more powerful than the Horde counterparts, I just had a battle in which I noticed a basic footman kill a Horde Honor Guard. Each basic Footman can kill two Grutns on his own. Would it be possible to buff Orc units even slightly so it makes more sense seeing as Orcs are naturally bigger and strogner than Humans? I'd liek to have a battle in which I don't have to have 3 grunts to each footman to make it even.

the new units are just there in preparation for when they are added, i think callistonian has ran into some problems converting the textures, the new units you can see will be uploaded in several new mods due to their size so you will need to subscribe to them once he has uploaded them

Hey for some reason I have all the new units in my editor but they don't show up, as if I'm not subbed but I'm subbed to all your mods, any idea what's going on? I've tried un/resubbing and resetting assets and restarting game a few times but nothing happens.

yeah for the old version of aom all of the units in my 'age of warcraft' post on heavegames are available for that, callistonian has commented below though saying hopefully most of the extra units will be ready either tomorrow or maybe by the weekend.

unfortunately i think some of the units from that 'extra' pack will be left as they are too detailed and my PC struggles with the more HD models, there was originally 16 new units in there (2 new heroes and 2 new units for each faction) but I know for certain one of the horde heroes is too much for EE to handle, similar to the lich king problem.

I didn't really want to include the night elves at first but I made some random units like other people have pointed out, I know they are supposed to mostly be female but I wanted to make a male type of warrior (night elf warrior) to match the other factions kind of 'grunt' units and I really like how they turned out :D

I did try and throw afew WC3 based units in there too like Tyrande and I can confirm she is on the tiger mount and I am happy with the way she turned out :)
