I also made 3 different sounds for when the lich king recovers from his death.

I've updated this pack to include the Lick King. I've also updated Dean's other mods to compress the textures into DDT which should reduce the download sizes and launch times.

I've updated the Lich King to be compatible for the EE version.

* Updated portrait-icons
* Added Original voicelines
* Changed materials settings + texture adjustments
* Added more animations (attack/bored)
* Some anim/protox changes

Once you subscribe to the mods, you will need to restart your game. Make sure you can see the files in your mods folder.

I managed to get the Lich King in the editor by lowering the poly/verts-count by a lot. But still when i hover the mouse over the unit the game lags like hell. I just don't know why that is...

never managed to get him to work in the end he will only work on the old version of AOM/AOM:TT if you have that you can download that unit from AOM heavengames

I know a lot of WoW rips are compatable with Warcraft III modding utilities if you want to lower the resolution and size of models and textures. You would just have to reconvert.

It's indeed a pain in the ass Dean. I'm working on archimonde know and I did managed to lower the poly's by a lot and still looking quite good. But I can't export it with the AMP.
really strange... it says is has no editable mesh or something... will try again later on.
I also managed to get the Titan Ettin in TotD editor to work without the shininess!
He luckily got not so much poly's.

i'm still working on removing some of the detail from his model files, this means I basically have to redo every single animation and this takes me afew hours because he is a very detailed model even after I remove part of the detail. I am working on him slowly but my spare time is very rare so I like to play other games when I get a a minute :)

I'll try and work on him again this weekend but so far I've had a lot of problems getting him to work in EE successfully :(

Hi, where is the lich king ? He is in the folder in progress proto2.1 but not in the file proto2.2. I reversed this file and renamed 2.1 tu 2.2 but the game crash when I select the lich king.

I think it is. There are a couple undead units in the extra units pack. I went ahead and included them in the proto so that I wouldn't have to update all of the UMC mods again when I release the extra units.

There were a couple of Undead units too that were only given the name but no placable model, if that is under the category you just described...

@titanbass1 - Are you talking about the Heavy Footman, etc.? Those are from the extra units pack which I haven't uploaded models/textures for yet. There was an issue with the textures on some of them that I'm working to resolve. For now, you will just be able to see their names but not place them in the editor.

oh were aware of this issue titan, no idea why EE causes the textures to be dark/shiny but im considering trying to find out what kind of 'glow' effect is used when you hover the mouse over units in game, as I find this really helps brighten them up and bring out the colours but I need to ask one of the devs for help locating this file and if its even possible :(

I should have clarified that the textures are read correctly, but with a black tint to them.

Subscribers shouldn't have to reinstall for the update to take effect. They should get the new files automatically.

@titanbass1 - We aren't 100% sure why that's happening. Some of the models appear almost black because they are just really dark when you place them (if they are jet black, that's a separate issue caused by unread textures). You can get a better idea of what they're supposed to look like by selecting them in the editor but not placing them on the map. I suspect this has to do with how EE is applying shading to the textures. Hopefully we will have an update for this soon.

I just updated. This should resolve the issue with the Undead Scourge shield variation which was crashing the game.

there is a bug with the 'undead scourge' where one of his shields will cause the game to crash, this is the only known issue with the undead and of course the lich king is missing as his models seem to be too large for AOM:EE to handle :( I'm working on removing part of the detail on the model to allow EE to run the lich king and the undead scourge shield issue has been located but not updated yet.

If you want to manually update this yourself you can simply delete the file called 'undeadshield1' from the models folder and this will fix the crash issue! :)
