You're just gonna have to bite the bullet dude. Sorry.
Is there a chance to use the "Natural Babies"-Mod to override the "Wildlife"-Dinos?
like:
- Insert the Babies Mod while the Wildlife Mod is active.
- Run the Server
- Stop the Server
- Remove WildlifeMod and keep BabiesMod
- Run the server
????????????
or anyone an other solution for my Problem? :(
Thx
is nealy imposible cause the game have problems with saving the copying the Dinostats.
But i will try and see what i can get... but can take more time.
If it is a baby you pretty much need to stay right near by and constantly give it food till it hits juvenile. If juvenile or adolescent it can eat from a feed trough. But if at any time they happen to run out of food they will usually die within minutes, pretty much the same as in vanilla if you breed tames yourself.
so far I have tamed a carbonerys, a trike, a branto, a ankylo and terror bird and they have all ended up dead. I just want to make sure this isn't mod itself causing this.
It should work fine in Vahalla. Just be sure to read the mod description and warning above.
There was but the mod maker removed any babies of dinos that can have a alpha as the alphas were not spawning for some people.
If you look at it it should tell you what it is requiring. Like petting, certain food, kibble or go for a walk, etc.
The care thing is someothing that the vanilla game added by the way and not from this mod.
I have noticed on my single player though that some young only have a ! and it does not say what they require. The care just gives it and you I believe random buffs when it becomes an adult.
As was said you do not have to they will spawn naturally but it will take a while to see them consistently as they only have a certain chance to spawn in like any other dino.
Quite frankly they are cute to look at but boy are they a pain in the butt to get to adulthood. I skip[ the babies and go right for the juveniles or adolescents as they can feed themselves from a trough. Babies you pretty much have to stay in base or very near till they at least get to juv as the baby babies need to be fed constantly.
If you do not use the destroywilddinos command it will take a while for the babies to spawn in naturally. Both ways will work just using the coomand gets them in right away.
Oh and be sure no one is taming a dino if you use the command as that dino will probably disappear as well.
I had it third or forth and it it worked fine in that position so I do not think it is that picky about it's postion in the load order.
Also since they added the imprinting stuff it is double the hassle to raise dinos if you want good results.
