Hey man, I sent you a friend request, I would really like a moment of your time, I need some total war help. I am a youtuber, and I love total war videos, and after looking the workshop over you might be my only hope for what I need.

A pity this mod currently affects the spacing of shield/spear walls. If you could have a version where they are nicely spaced out when not in formation, but goes into close order formation to perform the shield/spear walls, your mod would become essential to the game.

Is this save game compatible?

Neet mod, using this instead of the other charge collide mod. Possible to make a simular mod with the same unit spacing, but faster charge speed and units continues the collide instead of stopping after collide? Otherwise it's nice mod ty :D

will this work with other mods?

This mod is a must have no doubt. So much more realism when units are properly spaced so they can swing their weapons and engage in combat animations without bunching up and moving through eachother like in vanilla. Dudes would not have stood that close in real battles it just too arcade like.
Thanks for making this mod everyone should have it installed and the big overhauls should encorperate this idea for increased historical accuracy :steamhappy:

For the most realistic Attila combat experiance i recomend using the animated fight pack mod + the simply slower combat mod + the increased unit spacing mod + the realistic archery mod.
Much more accurate representation of the way battles actually happened in late antiquity and the dark ages!

Could you make another version of this mod where the distance between units isn't so big? like 50% of the value you set it to or whatever, it looks a little bit over the top to be honest

This mod should be at the top of everyones list just for increasing performance. By increasing spacing, it takes a lot of the load off the CPU. Everyone should have this mod.

Great mod! Makes the game much more enjoyable to watch!
