Report a translation problem
As Oneida mentioned, robojumper's squad select fixes the squad-select-screen's-UI-shifts-to-the-right bug. Oneida linked to the WOTC version of robojumper's mod, though. Here's the vanilla version:

I'll use your mod as part of one I'm creating and release it to the workshop because I can't wait XD.

Do you mind if I copy your mod and Unreal scripting as part of a mod I plan to create?

I am verifying the cache files, to see if the squad size number will go back to four and such.
Be warned - I didn't put anything in which would explicitly break it, but I also haven't tested the UI for more than 6 soldiers.
I would look out for any other mod that affects squad size (i.e. might have changed m_iMaxSoldiersOnMission)
Sadly, I can't fix the ini processing - that's an issue with all mods. The best fix is to just delete everything in your Config folder after changing your mods. Yeah, it sucks.
At the same time, starting with 4 members on higher difficulty is almost impossible. Starting with more, but having GTS makes me only want to upgrade them, well cause its in the scope of the game. so this is pretty much the best compromise :D
That didnt click for me coz I use the mod to skip gatecrasher
For new games, the main difference with this mod is that you get six troops in Gatecrasher. Which is nice if you're loading up on difficulty mods.
Existing games are handled a little differently too - if you've got Squad Size I, the other mod won't do anything and will make you wait to buy II, while my mod gives you six immediately - but you have to rebuy GTS perks.
