@SabaraOne Thanks for the reply!
SabaraOne 23.8.2023 klo 15.31
No it is not. Partially Gifted does not work with the War of the Chosen expansion. The mods are also rather different in how they work from a gameplay standpoint. Partially Gifted lets you unlock a few psi abilities for any soldier you wnt. Psi Overhaul lets you unlock several abilities (about half) onto a few randomly selected soldiers.

Thanks for the mod! Is it compatible with "XCOM Psionics Overhaul V3" mod? https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2134513735
Inaire 2.5.2022 klo 6.07
it says LW2-compatible
Austere Hare 30.4.2022 klo 14.27
lwotc? any one tested?
EasyGamerJosh 16.2.2022 klo 7.00
i hope this mod gets ported to WoTC soon, would love to some of my best troops and other units with a psi ability in the field
Inaire 9.5.2021 klo 20.20
the only port of it someone else did doesnt work for me.
Inaire 9.5.2021 klo 20.19
please port this to WoTC
RealityMachina  [tekijä] 17.5.2020 klo 12.58
It's fine.
pheonix89 17.5.2020 klo 8.57
@RealityMachina
Would you mind if I took a go at porting this to WoTC?
SuperDigga 5.4.2020 klo 10.08
Whenever I put a non psi guy in he gets stuck forever training, though i think this mod isnt meant for LW2
MrCloista 28.1.2020 klo 17.22
@RealityMachina - I was wondering if you'd ever consider doing a WOTC port of this mod? PZ's psionic training is similar in spirit I know, but doesn't seem to be supported anymore, and I'd love to see this going again (especially if you let it point to secondary slot amps so it'd be compatible with rpgo and the dedicated pistol slot mod which my current class pack is based around). If it's not something you wish to do yourself but you're willing to give permission to another to port too, that would be cool as well.
SabaraOne 28.7.2019 klo 5.40
Hey thanks, that worked!

Hey RM, recccomend that you update the mod desc to mention that the need to wipe happens in all LW campaigns now, regardless of when the Psi lab was built relative to anything happening to either mod updating.
ptr 28.7.2019 klo 3.35
I actually had this working in my last LW2 campaign without issues - IIRC after building Psi Lab I had to use the WipeFacility (the option at the very end of the XComPartiallyGifted.ini), restarted and the slot to train non-psis appeared next to the others. Trained soldiers just fine and loved every second of it XD. Not sure if it conflicts with upgrading Psi Lab in any way, never bothered to do that.

Make sure to set the WipeFacility to FALSE after you do it, otherwise it will wipe it (remove soldiers & scientists from it) every time you load the game!

i agree with SabaraOne. I did find the src files, but i do not have the skill to actually make the correct change and get it to compile...

Before i go spend 20 hours on this (i'm slow), may i please have permission to attempt to update this mod to support LW 1.3?
SabaraOne 6.7.2019 klo 17.41
Hey, I'm sure this has been asked somewhere, but has/will/can this mod be updated to support LW2 1.3+? On May 14, 2017, the 1.3 update added a second scientist slot. When I try to use PG now, I see two scientist slots and two rookie slots. Is there a workaround for this? I'm not afraid to go editing the inis or even the uc files, but I don't have anywhere near the skill to update it myself.
Shade11 9.2.2019 klo 8.35
@Franimus, This is not the WOTC verison of THIS mod. This is different mod compatibile with WOTC. Becouse it changes some requirements for soldiers to be additionaly psi ops so they appear or not appear as gifted from the start of the game so u can train them with psi lab ( in my opinion this sucks becouse i cant choose which my soldier gets gifted and changes in ini seem to work only after starting new campaing). In Partially Gifted u can put one soldier to psi lab and it's roll up with a chance the soldier is gifted or not. If not, then you can load the game or change in .ini the duration of training to one day instead of 5 days.
Franimus 17.12.2018 klo 15.57
See https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1565155767 for what appears to be a WOTC version of this mod.
Klyern 24.11.2018 klo 5.42
This would be awesome for LW2, where i feel every character is unique, having psy powers on any unit would make them more interesting.
Psyckosama 8.11.2018 klo 11.08
We really need a WOTC version of this... :(
Scrambleman17 24.10.2018 klo 23.44

Gale_Dragon 20.6.2018 klo 6.03
how can i fix the slot bug with LW2 ?
mynameactually 18.5.2018 klo 12.32
Especially since there doesn’t seem to be one that keeps the Psi Op, but also lets other classes learn psi abilities.
Shield of Ultramar 17.5.2018 klo 17.07
Will we ever get a WOTC version of this? It feels wrong playing without it....
Iceberg 28.2.2018 klo 11.00
Is it possible to re-roll abilities?
mynameactually 30.1.2018 klo 18.15
I would also like to see a WotC version of this mod.
DuskBlade 28.1.2018 klo 18.10
Can this be converted over to WOTC please
DragonFire 19.11.2017 klo 21.55
is there a chance for this to get updated for WOTC? loved this alot during my runs of xcom2 before.
Oled 18.10.2017 klo 7.59
does this work with wotc
Delta-118 14.10.2017 klo 7.12
Any chance this could be fixed to work with LW2?
danp132 14.9.2017 klo 20.41
Any chanse of a wotc update any time soon? This is a lovely mod
pintocat 7.9.2017 klo 13.27
This (and Potentials) were some of my favorite gameplay mods :)
mynameactually 5.9.2017 klo 23.46
@LightningManGTS I think it would depend on the utility slot sidearms mod updating.
mynameactually 5.9.2017 klo 23.44
Hey, I just left a big suggestion on the Fixer Class mod, that makes me think of this mod, but for adding cybernetic upgrades to your soldiers. If they decide against my suggestion and you ever have to urge to make something like that, I'm sure you'd know it out the park.
LightningManGTS 4.9.2017 klo 9.33
Man using default psi ops again reminded me how dumb they are for being there own class, espcially compared to the templars. I know you've been working mostly on allies unkown and the occasional fix WotC but how much work would it take to get this working for it? I can live with it being a tad bit barebones for the moment.
José 30.8.2017 klo 18.56
Yeah. Not only that, but I think that this might need a slight overhaul, with the inclusion of the training center. You could have a research project to make a slot that acts just like the Training center, and allows you to purchase random Psi skills. You could even add some of your own, like bringing back Long War's Mindfray, making them more unique in comparision to the Psi Ops.

Also, this would allow for the Psi Op to be able to purchase skills from other classes, so that they do something other that be psychic, and allow them to purchase unique psi powers that would be the classic/degraded versions regular soldiers would get.

Quick question: any clue what happened to Grimy? He's been AWOL for a while, and this mod needs his Utility Slot Sidearms to really Shine.
Ran 30.8.2017 klo 10.15
Any chance for an update?
José 15.8.2017 klo 1.02
If you're adding mind control, could you add Mindspin? Bunch of aliens are having it, a bunch are getting it... so why not XCOM? Also, if I wanted to make a perk availiable to be rolled, such as LeaderEnemyBoss' 'Make Psi Ops Great Again's/ Telekenisis, what would I have to add in either the .inis to make it work?
Naginataka 18.7.2017 klo 19.32
Help please. When I have the mod enabled, the added powers do not show up until after the unit's turn is over. If I disable the mod, I can use them normally (but not give new recruits a power).

I have turned off every other mod than LW2 and it still happens.
Doom149 3.7.2017 klo 21.23
How do I select which abilities my soldiers can learn? Like for example, I only want them to learn Soulfire and Fuse, nothing else.
Zarksol 30.6.2017 klo 17.52
Alright... Took some time and some testing, but I finally can train gifted soldiers. I don't know what I did to activate it as I tried quite a few things.

I think it may be by unsubscribing, loading my save, using the "unbind missing mods" mod, saving, subscribing to your mod again, setting "WipeFacility" on "true" in the XComPartiallyGifted.ini file, loading my game again...

At this point, I had a new "room" in the psy chamber to train gifted soldiers, that I hadn't before doing this all.

I then saved again to set WipeFacility on false again in the .ini file and finally loaded the game again to play. I still can't train my psy op more than the first level, but I guess it will come as they get XP or something. So I now have two greyed rooms for regular training, plus the gifted room between the two.

Who know... Maybe this little text will help some people with the same issue.
Zarksol 30.6.2017 klo 16.11
Hi ! I'm using your mod with Long War 2 and quite a few more mods (but none changing the psy lab except this mod) for some time now, but I was just able to start training psy ops.

I was surprised when I couldn't train a single soldier and tester to recruit two new soldiers to see if it works for them... Well, I could train the new recruits. One time each.

So, they are now on the first level of the psy ops training, and... Can't be trained more either, so my psy lab slots are grey again, saying there is no-one available for training.

Am I missing something ? I should be able to train anyone in the psy lab at least one time, right ?

Nitsah 9.6.2017 klo 12.10
Oh nevermind the console command worked.
Nitsah 9.6.2017 klo 12.10
I don't have the option to partially gift but mod manager says no mod is conflicting with it?
Arkenor 24.5.2017 klo 1.32
Aha! Thankyou very much!
RealityMachina  [tekijä] 24.5.2017 klo 1.31
@Arkenor Yes it should work fine with it, though it won't automatically use the powers it adds.
