@leman42x Sorry man, I sort of gave up on XCOM. Not that the game is bad, just the opposite in that I played it so much I'm kind of sick of it.

I don't think I'd have the patience to re-create all the Gallian characters over one by one.

I didn't get the dlc yet (short on cash) but it's just a character pool with no mods in it. I sort of assumed it would still work just fine?

Sorry guys, but I've no plans for making voice packs to compliment this.

Not that it'd be a bad idea, but making voicepacks is just so, so, soooooo *boring*. Endless hours of dragging files and re-listening them and testing and repeating and repeating and repeating, and that's just for a single voice.

If I were to make a voice for each of the different characters, then by the gods I'd lose my mind.

So ya, I take my hat off for people who do voicepacks on a regular basis, but it's just not for me, y'know.

Oh yeah, with a voice pack, this mood will pass from super awsome to extra-super-extrem-2000 awsome ;)

I want a voice pack with some of the Japanese voicovers from the game so I can have my Japanese soldiers speak Nipponese!

Took me three days. Not full days, of course, but, huh, about 6 hours total I think.

oh, man, exactly how long did it take you to make all of these guys? ive been chipping away at them for quite a while now and ive still got 33 more people to go.

personally i find spinning their bios pretty interesting, the part where i actually write them anyway, i pull out an ipad to look up their stories on the wiki, too, and xcom doesnt crash for me, so maybe ill end up doing it myself anyway. want the pool after im done?

Sorry, I probably won't end up doing that :/ Writing the bios was by far and large the most boring part of making the pool (I too forgot most of the character, so I had to go looking up each individual bio on google)

Plus XCOM 2 is crashing everytime I load a game, so I'm kind of pissed with it right now.

I have a minor request, can you make a seperate pool that, basically, pretends Gallia, The Empire and The Federation were actual places, and they fought a war as seen in Valk Chron, with some minor tweaks so the people who died along the way didn't, and the alien invasion happened right after it was concluded, in their bios.

for example, this is my version of Alicia
"At the beginning of the Second Europan War, Alicia was a baker's assistant, an aspiring baker herself, and a member of the Bruhl Town Watch; at the end of it, she was a Valkyria, goddess of war, a hardened member of the Gallian Millitia, and love of her squad commander Welkin Gunther.

i'd write them myself, but, as i'm shamed to admit, i kinda forgotten the stories of every character outside of Alicia, Welkin, Largo, Rosie and Isara.

yeah, i got it to work. for some reason the first time i started the game the pool wasnt showing up. its fine now.

@TheRyderShotgun you'll also have to go to the charcter pool and click the "import character" buttom at the bottom of it

all i have to do is press the subscribe button and activate the mod on startup, right? just in case its not a problem on my end

Jesus Christ, did you do something to the AI and Isara? Like, make her have the priority of a mimic beacon or something? Every mission she's been brought on, every enemy who has survived long enough to shoot has gone for Isara. I even had Gregor stand flanked against a wall (a la firing squad) and the enemy still went after full cover Isara.

I'd be horrified if it weren't so funny.

I only put the class as a requiremente because the pool sets the scouts from the game as "Rogues" by default. I think it should work just fine without it - they just would be defaulted to another class. If there's any problem on your end, I could always re-set everyone to be rookies.
Or, wait, are you unable to download it? It didn't occur to me that Steam would forbid people from downloading the mod due to requirements.

Also, I prefer to not need modded classes for this one, though I guess it's not exactly mandatory for character pool guys

So it, Valk! I personally made Welkin, Alicia, Rosie, Largo and Isara, and I wanted to make everyone, but I didn't have the patience to do it, so thanks! The uniform manager'll come in handy now if the uniforms are not to my liking.

You want a flag/nationality mod to go with this? God knows I'm deep enough in Valkyria Chronicles hell that I can set aside an hour to get it done tomorrow.
