Report a translation problem
Graphics mostly seemed good. Particularly liked many of the building textures - most felt like a fairly natural fit with RoN's art style.
Sound was a mixed bag. Some of the new weapon sounds are very harsh to listen to, and I have mixed feelings on giving some units voice lines.
But yeah, overall I'm glad this mod exists. I wish development of it had continued to help polish some of its weaker points. E.g. I think there's a typo on the amount of armor one of the Japanese artillery has - 109 armor (making it crazy durable) instead of what I assume should've been 19.

It allows the use of the editor to create WW2 scenarios suitable for the mod too.

It's very possible the current RON WW1 tanks are based on the Mark IV model though, but I'm sure you can do it even better. Japan also had a nice Type 95 Ha-Go tank but that came later in 1934. Happy modding!

Ages of Tanks is more balanced than SGW mod, every country has the same kind of unit (light medium and heavy tank, assault tank, tank destroyer etc.) even if it's unstorical.
The work on it is to update the 3D models and replace some unit with WW1 unit (hopefully with a new model) and this takes time, don't wait for a quick release :)
Anyway it can be done before Christmas lol. How about by tonight haha?
How much work does all this take you? Do you need any help with anything? I can research fast if you want any unit research, but for modding, I'm useless :)
we increased the effects of planes vs ships as some countries have just a basic fleet and no chance against major countries battleships (originally it was lower).
More, for the fighters carrying bombs we deleted the bomb animations to avoid to see the fighter firing bombs to other planes and we counted their effects on land and sea units in the balance file increasing their power based on the Kg of bombs loaded.
Regarding a WW1 mod, right now I'm thinking to a new release of my first mod "Ages of Tanks" with more WW1 units in Industrial age, maybe after it I'll think about a WW1 dedicated mod.
So far I only see some minor imbalances, the ships die quickly vs planes machine gun fire, and tanks take ages to take down buildings, but I guess that part is very realistic. I think ships vs normal machine gun fire should last longer though. But hey compared to all the amazing work you've done here that's like nothing...
Would you ever consider doing a nice WW1 mod? There are so many unique cool tanks for Britain, Germany, USA, Japan...Planes, ships, etc, that would be friggin amazing!
Anyways great stuff, I play this on Big Huge maps East vs West or Atalantic seamap and it's a blast with the Carrier planes etc. Bunkers are awesome too. All these new unique tanks & planes you've added are friggin great! It's cool to see the mod works also without having to uninstall other mods (I just have Conflict 2 installed though). Thanks man.
We thoght to replace the "Wasserfall Flakrakete" with an animated bunker. The trouble with a coast defence bunker is to limit its creation to the coast without a script.
Anyway, we want to wait for a while before to think to a new release to let people creating scenarios using the CTW version of the mod.
I looked at it, but I didn't find any historical reference on better weapons used by dutch during WW2.
More, the number of available units in RON is fixed and we can't add more units just replace existing ones and for minor countries we used the minimum number of slots to have major countries more detailed.
in future we'll use the "Wasserfall FlaRakete" room for an animated bunker or a coastal defense gun if it's possible, but it's not one priority.

Remove Il-4 and add Tu(polev)-4
Also, remove some USSR-naval and add Il-10 (1946) as an upgrade for Il-2 in 194?
