Does the GameUserSettings.Ini Command

[HugeDeepSeaLootCrates]
EnableBeam=true

work? I added it to my ini but there are no beams at deepsealoots.

Anybody an idea?

Lookie lookie lookie all you's kids,. I've got a server for you, its ZaBaGaBe Gaming's PVE server, always on, always updated, and always has active admins

The following is the server's configs:

10x Taming
6x Gather
500x egg hatch/maturation
10x global spoil timers
2x dino spawn count.
3x xp
0x resourcespawn periods[which means stuff grows back super fast]
Battle eye Protected
cave flying allowed.
Riderless dino defense is active.

doesn't seem to work in local. does is need to be first in line of add-on ? i did cross an underwater crate but it was normal size like always.

This mod is just fine I just found 2 more loot crates with red beams the only 3 I found since they came out. The fist was this older mod the next 2 on the newer one, none have ever crashed my game and I have about 20 other mods installed give the author credit they are both super mods.

Game crashese with your mod. I uninstall it then game works good then install it again then it crashes

Due to the issues some people are having with the red beam, I will create a separate mod for deep sea loot crates with beams.

That was awesome I was on my way to a regular drop on dead island when I saw a beam in the water it was high enough for me to think the game broke. Thanks so much that the first one I ever found.

I try start game without other mods, without BattleEye. Anyway with your changes game crashed.

thanks for the information. My client settings are all maxed out on 1080p (beside sky quality and postprocessing/motion blur). I have a 980ti which can handle it. So on the render side there should be no problem. :) Thanks for your effort and offering this great mod :)

Thats not caused by the mod. It simply changes a scaling value.

We are currently making adjustments to the beam. Depending on your quality setting and beam size the render distance can be very short or it might not render at all. The beam needs some more work and optimizations, please be patient...

I edited the GameUserSettings.ini and restarted the server. I found one crate but still without beam :(

Its in GameUserSettings.ini
Currently the height of the beam will probably not reach to above water level. I will increase the height during the next days, to make them visible from above water.

The beams are disabled by default. To enable them, you have to edit the ini file. See the description above.

No, it will not conflict. However it overwrites parameters in "supplycrate_ocean_instant" blueprint. Depending on your mod priorities/order the parameters of either mod are taken.

@Ghost simply subscribe, they wills spawn automatically at the original places.

@Tenshi simply use the existing spawnactor command. the blueprint path can be found in several wikis.

No I mean the NORMAL, or vanilla sea supply crate spawn command. You know, the small ones? Either way, thanks for the more advanced command of this!

In case you want the spawn command, its the following:
cheat spawnactor "Blueprint'/Game/Mods/DeepSeaLootVisibility/SupplyCrate_OceanInstant_Large.SupplyCrate_OceanInstant_Large'" 0 0 0

Be careful to not spawn it inside the player character!
