I really want this one, and upvoted it, but DE might not accept it until you get rid of the "Inspired By" slide, so people will stop complaining. Please remove that slide because I really want this skin in the game

i really like this skin and this message goes out to anyone reading this: chroma has alot of helmets that are too bulky in my opinion yeah i get it thats his style but what about players who like to run effigy? just an idea but i would love to see some models of a less bulky chroma helmet

It is perhaps open to interpretation, but... well, without wanting to spoil for anyone who has yet to play it, the Second Dream quest (which I highly recommend for a solid narrative experience) left me with the impression that warframes are an extension of their user, rather than a reliant, symbiotic or independent organism or anything to that effect.

Chroma as a warframe is sh1t, and this skin is like polished shit, but i voted Yes :)

@Huz the chroma skin, in Tennogen editing software, does not come with Chroma's default beaky helmet. It comes with the long-snouted seahorse helmet which I think was originally going to be his default and then DE changed their minds.

I would love to repaint his ingame default beaky helmet but its not in the files so oh well!

this i would buy proly the only reason i dont play chroma is because the pelt is ass to color lol but your skin looks great. and the lore is 10/10 gj would love to see this come to the game

@Cpt'n Squid if I knew anything about 3D modelling I'd give it a go. I always got ideas. I've been meaning to give Z-Brush a try. Even this particular skin is mostly stemmed from just me manually painting heightmaps in photoshop and adobe illustrator from a blank canvas. I ain't got much skill in 3d stuff yet.

Also fun fact! I've had a fungus slowly eating the skin on my left shin for the last few years and only recently did I figure out what it was and find the chemicals needed to cure and kill it. And now it's finally (slowly) dying off and leaving a big patch of dry scarred skin behind. Believe me I got trypophobia at a whole 'nother level up in here.

@Fenrir it's actually not a gradient! That subtle change in color is actually from the energy. The loops have the same textures and normal maps as default. I wanted the loops on the back (and on the knees) to seem like the metal was growing hot and glowing. Like something out of a forge or coils inside a toaster oven. It's hard to tell in full light! But it works (somewhat) in shadow. I'd love if it were possible to make the 'light' seem to come from within as though the metal were insulating a hotter 'core' but sadly it's not possible without editing the model itself a whole bunch! So I did the 2nd best thing I could think of!

jks lovely skin, and I don't think it's going for a dragon astetic, its going for a 'before the infestation' astetic.

The design is nice. The pelt looks a bit blurry and low resolution though, especially compared to the armor. Also those uh... loops on his back need some more detail and not just a gradient.

I feel like it'd be better if you made a version that instead of an infested pelt, have the pelt look like an actual dragon pelt, scales and stuff

To all the people complaining about ONE picture in the inspiration, grow up. This skin is very well done and you shouldn't judge it based on something like that. FFS.

Please don't use imagry like that in the inspiration picture, it's revolting. The skin is nice but I'm not gonna upvote it cause of that

I love the design if people think it's too much then they just need to realise they can use the same colours more than twice to simplify the colours on the skin when it becomes available!
Keep up the good work and don't let narrow minded people put you off your work :D
