does this addon have any convars?

i havent changed the code since august 2017, but it was made for ttt and not sandbox, hence why it threw errors in sandbox, yet surprisingly still worked.

Back to your question though, i dont think there is any simple fix you can do. A fix would probably require modifying the code specifically for sandbox.

Just to be clear, I don't play TTT. I just like to mess around in Sandbox.

Hello. I don't know if this is because of a patch or some detail I might be in the dark about, but I just opened up Garry's Mod for the first time in nearly two years, and the Banana Bomb isn't working the way I remember. I used to be able to rapidly left-click the mouse, and shoot out an infinite amount of bombs on the ground. Now, I can only throw one at a time, and I have to select it from the menu every time I want to use it again. I'm sorry if it seems like I'm asking a stupid question. I just want to know if there's anything I can do to change this. Thank you. :)

Looks like that error is happening when the addon is used in singleplayer (aka "Start a new Game") (with 1 player limit set in the gamemode settings). When you set it to 2 or more players it works just fine.

Having disabled all addons, only re-enabling this one, I still get the error with the following message:

What's strange is that it also went from equipment slot 7 to equipment slot 4 whenever purchased.

you can disable addons in the main menu. i think there is one entry called Addons or Mods idk, but you can disable them in the main menu, thats for sure.

Is there a way to disable addons without unsubscribing from them? I have a number of other addons and unsubscribing/resubscribing to them might take a while.

I've currently only tested it in single player TTT, by changing the minimum players to 1 and preventing auto-win through the console. I technically have TTT2 installed, but don't know if that is what is causing the issue.

Just tested it on my server, and double checked the code. The ttt error shouldnt be happening, because the SteamId64 should always have a value. Are you playing a version of gmod that does not authenticate using steam, or are you using a modified version of the mod?

Yes, it is that issue. It occurs within TTT as well though.

Ah, i remember now, yeah you can throw as many as you want in sandbox because of the error. Its designed for the mode TTT primarily.

you shouldnt need to copy ANY items. just subscribe to it for the client and add it to your server collection and restart the server. thats how you install addons

do i need to copy more than 1 file? maybe i need more in specific folders?

there is no error atleast, i actually have the same problem with melon launcher and the homing pigeon (if you know these items too). are there any server settings that you cant throw (or shoot) explosives maybe?

you shouldnt need anything besides ttt. maybe if the banana looks like ERROR, If you got anything installed ontop of that it shouldnt be bad either ...

i only have css content installed, not sure but maybe i need hl2 or team fortress content. do you have all of these installed?

The current version works on the TTT server i test my stuff on, so if you run TTT on your server then there shouldnt be a problem at all.

i can buy the banana as traitor i can even change the fuse-timer, but i cant throw it, any ideas? is my server missing something?

@Sirfowler no, the functionality changed quite a bit, like ignition times throwing ranges , also the smod banana wasnt for ttt , and the most significant thing: as far as what i could read from the code, you ignited bananas by rightclicking, which isnt the case anymore ad it would be overpowered
