Hey, idk if you still get online/read the comments here, but I'm trying to make a mod that also adds a rideable dilo along with several other changed dinos, but I'm not really sure how to make the spit attack directional, and I was wondering if you could help.

instead of calling it an alpha you can call it a walker dilo

• There is no cuddle animation.
• Also, it looks like it launches the projectile out of its nostrils. Eh! Dilo snot! lol
• It does not have a jump animation.
• The collision needs some work.

Have you, or have you considered creating custom animations to give the illusion that it is actually heavier? Kind o' like the Utahraptor?

A great mod which needs two things to be perfect: the sound of the bite attack, AND (the most important in my opinion) the scaling of the spitted venom from the melee damage stat. Keep it up!

not a fan of how it's animations aren't in sync with it's movement speed (looks like it's ice skating) other than that I still think this is a cool mod

Also, I know Dillos can spit AND bite, so are there seperate buttons for each attack while riding them?

Im sorry, there is no setting to manually increase the spawn ratio, you can try to perform a DestroyWildDinos to force world repopulation, anyway, Dilos will spawn, just be patient about it.

Hi I subscribed to your mod a few days ago. I don't use any dino mods except Indominus Rex Nemesis. Me and my girlfriend were searching grasslands, riversides and mountainsides. No big Dilo there. Could you tell me the setting you made on how many spawn and if it is changeable? F.e. in Game.ini I can set how many Indominus spawn. Thx in advance. Keep up the nice work :)

Hey, just wanted to say thanks for the dilo mod. I love them, and have been having a great time. My only suggestions are if you plan to do more dinos to maybe resize the Pachy (and enable berry harvesting), as the last mod I saw for them seems to not be working. Ridable bats would be nice. I would like to see saddles for the dilo, and other dinos later on if thats possible. I also would like to be able to pick and chose what dino mod to load, as ScarletScales suggests, or perhaps a way to chose what modded dinos spawn.

This mod still works great. Can you add some other dinos? I was thinking the Titan could use some fixes....Also maybe add the ridable/tamable snakes into your mod. Just some ideas since this is a cool mod.

ok, Have you seen Jurassic Park the first movie? When the computer hacker get spitted in his face of a dilo. He have Nerd glasses. In Ark you have a Nerdy Glasses skin on your helmet. But if you could fix so you can have helmets on the Alpha Dilo like you can on gigantopiticus and Mesopiticus.

@Shadlos You can always read the update notes on the description, and yes, i mean to use the same kibble, and the same ammount of narcotics, meat, prime meat, and such kind of things.

Its not a bad idea to include an aerial war mount between argys and pteras, but i dont think the dimorphodon its the correct one as it will need to be way bigger, to much for being world coherent. Also, aerialmounts have a handicap, you need to get to ground in order to combat, and you will most likely take land on the attempt, like the idea, but Ark have several problems to achieve it due the way its created. Will look into it.

@Dragonov Saddles are a cool way to mount your dinos, but, since almost every mod in the workshop modify the engrams indexes, i tried to not, and let the mod be as simple as it can be in order to ensure compatibility, this may change in the future if community vote for it. But not on my primary roadmap at the very moment.

Also, just a suggestion, i think an Alpha Dimorphodon would be interesting. We need something that is more of an "aerial combat mount" than an argy, which is good, but has it's flaws. I'm trying to do something similar with my Mythunga for my own mod.

I've been finding them, recently. Just a quick few questions, though.

1: What's in this new update, anything major?

2. So when you mean "tame it as a carno", it uses the same kibble?

@Shadlos Real fact is that there is no accurate map of where "grasslands" are, or even what kind of biome is. Its supposed to be on the lower part of mountains, but seems to refer also both sides of rivers. So, no bug on your report, anyway, thanks for the report!

Having a bit of trouble finding them in "grasslands"...a good-level one that i tamed jumped me on Cragg's Island, strangely enough. Don't know if it's a bug or what, but i know i didnt spawn it in.
