This mod doed not have a dependency on CUP Weapons. You can use it alone. It only set some CUP optic as possible attachments.:steammocking:

Hi, I edited the sounds in the config to have CUP's M16 sounds. Is it OK if I send you the files so you could upload/update this addon for them to have those sounds instead of the vanilla old mk20s?

You should consider contacting the people working on CUP to adopt this mod if it's possible since this is the only proper old-school Colt mod. Or you can just replace the weapon sounds with higher quality ones. Great work, cheers!

Good to know! I guess what i mean with the 25 vs 250 m is there's no noticeable difference in trajectory, and I have noticed that the bullet hits lower than POI beyond 150, at least with the M16A1.

The "zero" point is in the 3d model , I've had no problem but i'll investigate futher. It should be zeroed but you can never tell with blowback and iron sights... you should have no problem with dots instead.

25m-250m zeroing is the same cause even IRL the bullet should go high and drop at the same height in those meters.. pic for explanation

Still enjoying this mod a lot, but I've noticed that most of the AR's iron sights aren't zeroed properly. All except the M16A1 seem to shoot about 12 inches up and 3 inches to the left at 100 meters. The M16A1 is just fine, might be just a tad low.

The 25m and 250m zeroings on all the guns also are no different. I actually tried looking up how to fix this but couldn't find anything on it, I guess it's a model thing.

One of the best weapons addons for Arma 3. I love all the variety.

Ive noticed the hand placement on the pistol grip 870 is not ideal. If I could make another suggestion the interior of the Protecs is maybe a little too white? All the ones Ive seen are grey or black, maybe tan.

And if I could request an addition it would be for the Colt 635 DEA aka 636. Integrally supressed/moderated 9mm AR with A1 upper and A1 handguards. Very cool, rare, and I would imagine not too hard to model, considering how diverse BOW is. Ive watched addon making videos on youtube and its way out of my league. so thank you again for making this mod available, cheers!

literally all these weapons look really bad not arma 3 standards. i think its time to stop with these ports and ditch all previous arma games content completely.

Anyone having issues with the weapons not showing up in the virtual arsenal? I can manually add the weapons to each unit's int field, but they don't show in the eden editor list when I try to change a unit's loadout with the VA. The helmets show up, and the NVGs, but no rifles.

The sound should be the same as the "HK416 like" vanilla weapon from the APEX expansion.
I will inspect the sound config again if there were some changes in the last ARMA 3 patches.

Me and my buddies LOVE doing old school stuff and when we found this mod it was an absolute GOD send. Few things we found was the quietness of the rifles like the M727 compared to the rest of the assault rifles in game, whether this is accidental or intended is unknown to us but it would be nice to see sounds levelled with other assault rifles.

You're correct, makes sense since it looks like yours straps to the head and not a helmet.

That would be nice, yes. Also, bug I've found - PVS5A model is invisible. Its night vision works just fine, but I can't actually see it on players or myself.
