yo does this still work at all? even if the game itself got updated, there is still the common occurrence where guys take hit after hit without dying especially with modded uniforms that somehow miraculously give armor

you have to be in the 3D editor, then go to addon options, and it will be in ace medical.

Well, if you have ACE you can just set player/AI damage taken before death to 0.1 for one shot kills

+floodkiller52 Originally I had it working with RHS, NiArms, Prpl Famas and several other vehcles mods but people were complaining about error messages when loading it without those specific mods enabled so I remade it as a vanilla build instead. So no unfortunately. Basically I just went through each and every class name of ammo and edited the damage value, which btw takes a fricken lifetime. Try out Bcombat ai script, it has a custom damage modifier parameter I believe :)

Its ok. It just says outdated by 2/4/2017. So i assumed that it didnt work. And does it work with mods?

+floodkiller52 Due to my busy schedule I'm not working on this anymore and I'm not planning on picking it back up. It should still work however, I'm just not updating it as new weapons are added. Sorry.

Yep, even a silenced 9mm drops a plate 3 guy in one shot... more overkill than realistic. But then again I was gettng bored of hitting people in the chest with 7.62 and getting flinching like "was that a mosquito bite?".

Thank you for this mod. Vanilla damage was rediculous to the point that I was about to give up on this game entirely. If 5.56mm (and even 7.62) were that useless in the "future" due to advances in body armor, no military on the planet would be stupid enough to equip its soldiers with those calibres for their primary weapons.

Yeah I've noticed PW6 has been playing up and my mod collection has not been allowing people to access it. The mods required are: ACE, RHS Escilation, HLC weapons (core), CUP Weapons, Uk 3CB Weapons, FIR AWS US

I am planning a vanillia release sometime soon when the expansion gets a full release but for now I aplogise for everyone experiencing problems with this mod.

Once PW6 has unfucked itself ill repost a new link.

@Alexander Is the any chance you could give a list of the mods required to not get the error messages? I am fairly certian that because I don't have all of the mods it is the reason that my game keeps crashing when I try to edit one of my missions. I tried using your link but for some reason couldn't ever actually locate the modpack. Thanks.

Yes, I agree, but 5:56 to in vest, and yet not tip the first shot unless hit critical points, 7.62 kills by kinetic impact vest up to 100m, the AP of 7.62 pierce vest.

Hi Mostafox, your save games might be having issues because of the recent update from BIS, happens every time. Restart your mission now and save and try loading it back up. It's just because of there is a conflict between the versions being loaded. Cheers.

Yes, as mentioned in the description it will give you error messages if you don't have several mods that my clan uses. It won't effect your gameplay at all, but you'll have to live with getting an error message on start up i'm afraid. I'll be looking at making a vanilla version when I can figure out the error I'm getting with it. This mod was made specifically for my group but I thought I'd be kind enough to share it with everyone else.

It's probably because our team uses Foxforts edited blastcore tracers in our mod set-up. You'll have to live with it for now i'm afraid unless you get the mod. It'll be too much work for me to go through all the entries and change it for you. i was working on a vanilla version for everyone but I was getting some weird errors and I put it on hold. Once Tanoa gets released I'll look back into it. Sorry Kalu.

Hey Callaway, it's giving you errors because I've added in the ammo varients used in some of my mods. If it's bothering people too much I'll see about making a vanillia varient just becasue I'm a nice guy.

This is a fantastic mod, can you possibly give some hints how to remove the errors thrown by not using ACE? This is the only good damage mod I've found!

It wouldn't be proper of me to edit someone else's work but even if I did I only look at the scripting side, I don't do any 3d modelling or sound recording. Besides this mod makes the 5.56 a much more efficient round so there's not much need for a 7.62 :D I'd recommend that you consider looking at Robert Hammer's Escilation mod, it adds so much content that you'll never be stuck for weapon selection ;) Happy Arma-ing
