Ahh thank you. Those shelves are not mine. I had thought they were part of TTS but apparently they are a workshop add-on that I used. I don't like that because of issues like this. I will find a replacement way to set things up.

The platforms you put around the table to hold the player boards. They don't load for me from picblaze. If i put the url in my browser, it says I don't have permission to access it.

Shelves? Can you be more specific?
vbstrano 12 Aug, 2017 @ 7:32am
Easy enough to copy the link form Chapter 2 and then paste it to chapter 1. My problem is that the image for your shelves from picblaze doesn't seem to be public, so I just get white shelves in either chapter

I'm having this problem too, re-install didn't fix it, it loads the image from
{LINK REMOVED}
Skarnor  [author] 28 Jul, 2017 @ 1:25am
That is very odd since both chapters load from the same place. BTW your link was removed. Is anyone else having this issue? You can try loading chapter 2 and puttnig Canice's board in your personal chest, then load chapter 1 and try to pull it out? If that works, save the game there.

It's really hard to troubleshoot if I cannot duplicate the issue.

Still not working for me. I've tried reinstalling the mod to no avail. I think it's trying to import from {LINK REMOVED} b/c that is the link that comes up and it's 404 even in my browser. Tried Chapter 2 and everything loads fine there.
Skarnor  [author] 24 Jul, 2017 @ 2:29pm
Please try again, it is working for me and I haven't altered those files at all. Let me know

It should be everything you need to play :)

Hi there, amazing work with all the chapters ready to play
One question : we can find the rulebook online and i see you put a double sided page with the quest in each mod
is that everything we need to play or there are more important informations in the official quest book? Thank you !

Characters can select from any card in the deck

Although the draw and buy idea could be an interesting house rules for those who like randomness

Thanks for explaining, you made it pretty clear, just one more things to be absolutely sure.
Do each characters buy abilities from all the cards in their deck, or draw randomly certain number and choose between them?

Skarnor  [author] 8 Apr, 2016 @ 2:40pm
As for character progression, at the end of a chapter you divide the XP in the treasury evenly among the characters. If some characters get extra XP due to there not being an evenly divisible number of XP, then all other characters get 1 bonus XP so everyone ends up the same.

An example, in a 4 player game there is 41 XP in the treasure at the end. Each character will gain 11 xp.

Once you know how much XP you have, there is a deck of cards called "abilities". Each card in that deck has an XP cost in the top right hand corner. Each character can purchase as many of these cards as they like, as long as they have enough XP.

I hope that explains it. Ask more questions if I explained poorly or more things pop up
Skarnor  [author] 8 Apr, 2016 @ 2:40pm
One note on side quests: There are chained quests part of them and it starts to get a little more complicated after chapter 2. There are 3 different quests that require 3-4 steps. During a campaign you can only have 1 of these side quests. Starting in chapter 2 the side quest deck will have the first step of one of these chain in the deck. If during chapter 2 you reveal a chain quest, then starting in chapter 3 you will mix in step 2 to each chapter's side quest deck until it is revealed, then step 3 in future chapers etcetra.

I hope that is not as clear as mud. I can explain it in a different way if you like, and in each chapter I put in note cards to try to explain how to craft the side quest deck.

Skarnor  [author] 8 Apr, 2016 @ 2:40pm
Each chapter should have some index cards explaining how to create the side quest deck. The cards should be divided up for you so you only need to combine x number for this deck to the next etc. In all chapters except 7 there are 1-2 spots on the board where a side quest card goes. Once you have the deck created you put a random one on each spot, face down.

If anyone could explain character progression after chapters (exp distribution, abilities) and side quest placement, since its not in rules and i don't think campaign guide is available online.

Thanks.

Thank you for the tip, Eruyome.

Chapter 7 has been uploaded, so you should be able to play through the entire box campaign with the workshop items I put up. Please, if you enjoy this game support the creators at Privateer Press.

I heard there is a bonus mission in No Quarter (The publishers magazine), if I ever get a copy I may add that as well.

I hope everyone enjoys it. I have been contemplating grabbing some appropriate 3d models from other workshop items to use in place of my cardboard figures. Unfortunately most of them do not have bases, and model colors are actually important in this game. So unless I jack a mesh, and reskin it I don't see it happening.... But you never know.

The new images are much better, hardly any difference to mine quality-wise. If you want to save on load-times just compress the images better, you can easily save 40-50% size without noticable quality loss, either with some client side tools or jsut online tolls like tinyjpg.com

thanks a lot.
Skarnor  [author] 3 Apr, 2016 @ 2:08pm
Wow, yes those were quite terrible and hard to read. I just updated the workshop item with a much better version. Tell me what you think and if you prefer yours or the ones I just posted up.

I will update chapters 2-4 with the better ones as well
Skarnor  [author] 3 Apr, 2016 @ 1:51pm
The original is a little bigger, I was trying to save load times. I haven't played a game with them so if you say they are hard to read I will try with them first (they are slightly larger than yours but since the original size before shrink then large may be a bit crisper)

I will get them up asap
Eruyome 3 Apr, 2016 @ 10:40am
I improved the character mat textures a bit, feel free to use them http://imgur.com/a/bXlem
Eruyome 3 Apr, 2016 @ 8:43am
The board is a lot better now. Do you have better quality character mats? They can be hard to read.
Skarnor  [author] 2 Apr, 2016 @ 8:39pm
Made another change with a custom made character mat for cards and a small dice tray to the side. I will include a screen shot when I get a chance, and update chapter 2 asap. After that I want to do a test run to make sure I am not missing anything obvious, give time for some feedback here and then push the changes in to chapters 3-4

Once that seems good, I will finish the chapters
Bahamut 2 Apr, 2016 @ 7:37pm
Interesting, I had never heard of this game. Ill check it out.
Skarnor  [author] 2 Apr, 2016 @ 7:10pm
I made an adjustment based on your comment and suggestion. I am curious how people like the layout.

The game does not take a lot of space, but this reduces the cramped feeling a bit. I am going to see about working on a mat of sorts with snap points for your feat deck
Skarnor  [author] 2 Apr, 2016 @ 11:12am
Also, I noticed in your screenshot that the chapter 1 card does not look right and you don't have the prologue. You may want to grab those from the updated workshop item.

The chapter 1 card fix was using the same URL so you may have to turn of mod cacheing. I may just re-upload the image so I have a different URL so people have to futz with that. If you see an issue with characters having their text for their second wind cut off, then similar situation. I updated the image directly in the cloud so it is the same URL
Skarnor  [author] 2 Apr, 2016 @ 11:07am
Eruyome, I really like what you did with that table. I tend to not put things like dice towers in workshops but I like them quite a bit as they feel more natural and random to me how they roll dice. Those towers in your picture, I believe, are the ones we usually use as well. I really like that setup and I will look in to building out the table. The more room in later chapters will be welcome too.

I think I would align characters in the extra room too, maybe with a mat and snap points for your feat deck, discard and current 3 feat cards. Great suggestion! When you get to actually playing I hope you enjoy it. I haven't had a lot of test sessions but they have gone well, and once everyone is comfortable with the process of a turn it moves very quickly for the type of game it is.

Eruyome 2 Apr, 2016 @ 7:34am
Haven't played the game so far so I can't give any feedback on that but maybe you can build a better gametable, here's a screenshot of a quick edit I made http://i.imgur.com/qw2fxnL.jpg
Skarnor  [author] 1 Apr, 2016 @ 7:52am
This is an early version and needs some feedback from real play throughs. I will be adding story pages for the chapter later. I have chapter 2 pretty much set but I want some feedback from chapter 1 and some play throughs myself with a group to see what needs to be done.

After I get a formula that works, I should be able to pump out chapters 2-7 Fairly quickly.
