I really want this as an evironment. Using it as a background doesn't do it justice.

Would it be possible to convert this to make an environment version? Because having the scale down and 3D modeling would give an amazing sense of presence that would make it way cooler. Plus, you could add whatever background you like to make it seem like you're flying through that environment in the Falcon.

Do you know guys why this background is not correctly centered ? The front of the cockpit is 40° on my left.

That's not necessarly the background size, it's more about the fact that there is no 3d panorama yet and so everything is seen like very far (and for seems very big). It misses information for you to see it is close.

Cylon Surfer : you need to subscribe (green button), in steamvr menu (headset on your head) in parameter (below) you can change it, I don't remember where exactly but it's easy to find.

I tell you what I want: the elite dangrous intro page - which is in the hanger. They have done a fantastic job to immerse you even before you start playing.

Yeah, it's a definite shortcoming. While panosphere's are cool, in VR you definetely start wanting 3D panospheres or fully 3d environments.

Like, adjust the FOV? You cannot. You are in the center of an infinite sphere. That's why everything that should be 'close' looks like it's far away and gigantic.

Theo => you have to click the green button subscribe and it will be in your steamvr panorama library.
