Hey, idea. So my friend and I are tired of the backpack as a whole and there used to be a mod for it where it would removed. Sadly this mod doesnt exist anymore, the original mod was removed...

@Sektan, will you be updating your suit mods any time soon? I recently tried them out and there is a lot of clipping while running as well as landing after turning jetpack off. I was hoping to use this on my private dedicated server.

Hi Sektan, thank you so much for your amazing work! Since planets and even since Oxygen I always look and ask for a light non-space suit with no helmet, no backpack, no jets. Something more like the uniform in the star trek universe. For me telling a story while playing of beeing dependent solely on my ship to survive in space and having EVA as an "upgrade" would be amzing. With all your experience, could you tell me why such a character costume was never modded? Game limitations? Moddeling? Cheers!

Isn't there the "Disable Jetpack" button for this?

And before any of you start insulting me again, to click the button is much quicker than waiting for mods and does not require Internet connection.

What about a "no Backpack suit"? So our Planet-conquerers can move on a Planet or in a Station whitout that heavy Thing on their Backs. - or maybe a small one... In my Mind, on a Planet or in a working Station, you don´t need to carry your complete Live-support with you. This lite-suit can have less storage and maybe no Oxygen-suport (open-helmet /no-helmet only). Cause of the less weight, there can be more running speed. Also the Jetpack can work more efficient, with means: suit-hydro-tank could be optical smaller by same range. hydrogen-bottles have more durability

Can you make it so you just start with the no jetpack suit? then you can try to get to a medical bay to "upgrade" to a jetpack suit?

I like the idea of forced no jetpack in gravity. Or even the more natural gravity and artifical gravity the weaker the jetpacks ability to lift.

Sektan, if you're not busy could you possibly make a halo Elite skin? like possibly a halo 5 zealot class?

A real, good looking NASA suit would be amazing.( maybe it could even have that blue circle logo on it, but it would say "Space engineers" instead of NASA).
Also, interesting idea with the no-jet pack challenge....
