(SINGLEPLAYER BTW) I notice at the beginning on zeus that there are other players that have red circles around them (I understand this as them to be 'main' players, or most of the time part of your squad), when I got my 2 other crewman into a tank, for example, everyone else was just running around.

Is one of the vehicles at main the one we need to use to make the other AI get into vehicles? They just move around unless I tell them to get into a vehicle.

I'm not sure if you've made this such that when the player gets into the 'correct' vehicle, all the other AI get into their allocated vehicles..if there were to be the case.

Hope my question doesn't sound confusing!

Con esta IA es imposible crear una unidad que pueda combatir, no puedes mandar a las unidades si juegas solo y peor aun cuando sales del carro para echar un vistazo no puedes darles ordenes cosa que en un carro es lo mas habitual que el jefe de carro vaya con la cabeza sacada.

we played it on veteran. Since we Lacked a Commander in General the mission was easy. we used Real Armour Mod however since it was a tank mission https://forums.bistudio.com/topic/161885-real-armor-mod/

@AngryVoodoo you should really play/replay the campaign it has amazing things in it many of which I learn from it such as this and the animations . Just whish they'd simplify the ORBAT . You should also check out the Strategic map which you see in the campaign as well.

@Ice Light (REDDOG) That's exactly one of the tutorials I used while learning the ORBAT system . Should be easier to make in my opinion...

Many ported vehicles from earlier Arma series - are not scripted correctly resulting in weird collision behaviour. Tanks and armored vehicles occasionally spin on their axis or flip over when they hit an obstacle.

@killjoy , Yeah unfortunatly AI on armored vehicles can be Overpowered , I didn't even changed the weather because I Knew that that wouldnt make a difference for the AI to see you.

As great as your mission is, and you've obviously put some fair effort into it, so good job. But it really reminds me of just how awful Armoured combat with the AI truly is. And credit to the FFAA mod but their tank mechanics are fairly clunky at this point.

Still, great job mate. If i had some co-op buddies to play with i'd probably enjoy it more.

@Rick0Shay , What? I hope you are not serious anyway ,not only I already have 2 mission with this mod the developers have shown their support on my other mission besides I have them added as friends so if they feel like I should remove the mission I definetly would.

@Richotet, If you're still feeling curious how I did it download the mission and check out the files , I've just added the Armaholic link to the description.

@Richotet I believe the size of the marker on the map changes depending on the "Size" or the "type" you define on the description . So if you have a Company ( on size ) the marker will be big , if you select a squad it will be small. Hope it helps :caster_wink:
