@Bot: you know, might wanna try two basic things before you freak out like that. clear your Cache, and Verify Your Game. both are something you should do every time you download a mod, and every time you remove one.

hello i am not sure how i can help you, but this mod is not compatible with WOTC. See the troubleshooting guide. There are useful informations for mod conflicts.

i downloaded lots of mods and when i tried launching it kept saying the same crash msg and then i tried removing the mods i thought wer the cause,when i finally have the remaining mods i used bfore the lots of mods downloaded it stil giving the same bullcrap only by deselecting all the wotc mods was i able 2 launch the game,i xit selected my usual mods and it gave me the same shit so i finally decided 2 uninstal and then installing it again if this doesnt work goodbye wotc 4 the rest of my life!

Great to hear you are updating it. Still no front line classes, and I am sorely missing them for bigger squad sizes and enemy amounts to take fire.

i try to change this by default for my next update but this may take longer. in the meantime you can do it yourself. Add these lines to the config file from tactical rigging.

+AbilityUnlocksGrenadePocket=TankProtectionProtocol ; Tank Grenade
+AbilityUnlocksAmmoPocket=TankProtectionProtocol ; Tank Ammo

@dragonus: thanks for the report thats currently broken you will only get the hack bonus not the ability. I try to fix in the next update thanks

Uhm...I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong here but the Haywire Protocal is not doing anything. Twice now, I've tried to hack a MEC and nothing happens. No animation, nothing happening in the background to tell me if it failed or anything; it just puts the ability on cooldown...Is that not working? Oh, I just noticed the Bug Report board...let me check that...

yes but you will only get two perks per rank (this is for players who play without long war). i recommend you my Long war version you can find the link in description or workshop under soldier class. Thanks

Glad there's still class mods that aren't forced into integrating with LWPP. I like the idea of extra perk choices in the LWPP, but I don't actually want the classes from it.

How does melee work? The class doesn't have a sword, are you using the Beat Down animation for subueing enemy VIPs?

yes and also without shield it is a strong combination with will to survive and shock absorbant armor you have 58% damage reduction

Then it's most likely I take Shock Absorbment Armor over Threat Resistance.

Survival Training

Shield goes up all the time when I full move; it can melee and stun Stun Lancers; drawing all fire with Here I Am, but laughing it all off with Will To Survive, Shock Absorbment Armor, Ever Safe making sure I have a shield at all times, Survival Training helps me get some hits back. I'm so putting a Superior Dodge PCS on this dude.

In short:

EVER SAFE: make a full move, Shield Protocol kicks in
THREAT RESISTANCE: gives you a free Covering Fire shot if activated as the last action on my turn

So, the Tank would just wait until everbody has set up and all, then just fully dash out in front, kicking in Ever Safe, giving me a Shield Protocol.

Does Threat Resistance then notice that the Shield Protocol was "activated" as the last action, giving me Covering Fire?

With Here I am, he's going to always draw the fire and let my squad take care of the rest.

Okay, now that said, I've been contemplating:

Shield Protocol
Shield Hit
Here I am
Will To Survive
Threat Resistance (works with Ever Safe?)
Ever Safe (works with Threat Resistance?)
Survival Training

Basically, I'm seeing this guy as a...Tank. He's going to be drawing fire constantly turn after turn, especially if all I have to do is just make a full yellow move to kick in Ever Safe that gives me a Shield Protocol since I only moved. But thanks to Threat Resistance, it should kick up after I use Ever Safe? Or do I have to physically choose the Threat Resistance perk for it to work?

Survival Training is the ice on the cake; he'll just regenerate back the health and run right back into battle.

My crux is Ever Safe + Threat Resistance. If they don't work together, I'd rather grab Shock Absorbent Armor over Threat Resistance.

Any comment would be appreciated!

BTW, the way you have your trees behind spoilers and listed by sides is confusing. This will clean this up:

SQUADDIE: Shield Protocol
CORPORAL: Self Control + Shield Hit
SERGEANT: Here I Am + Challenge
LIEUTENANT: Wlll To Survive + Masochist
CAPTAIN: Shock Absorbent Armor + Threat Resistance
MAJOR: Ever Safe + Untouchable
COLONEL: Survival Training + Last Chance

Yeah, I kind of expected some sort of Shield HP...like the Shieldbearers, but only for himself and a low HP, at that...1 perhaps. I mean, he's dodging, and reducing damage already, so 1 shield kind of makes sense.

It also seems that most of the abilities here are passive...as in there' s no actual perk we would choose to enable except for the Shield...which is awesome.

I'm thinking:

Squaddie: Shield Protocol
Corporal: Shield Hit
Sergeant: Here I am
Lieutenant: Will To Survive
Captain: Threat Resistance
Major: Ever Safe
Colonel: Survival Training

Plesae tell me EVER SAFE is compatitible with THREAT RESISTANCE!!!

All I'd ever have to do is full move him into full cover and I'd get:

Covering Fire, Shield Hit, Here I am, Will To Survive while taunting enemies to hit him and he'd just regen that back through Survival Training.

AWC, I'd probably pick Shock Absorbent Armor or Low Profile to make low cover count as high cover...

Yes the tank gets stronger with each level but on the next update he will recieve shield hp so he is more useful early.

Okay, I need to learn how to use this class. This guy seems weak early on, but build him up, he should be frontlining the squad and tanking/dodging/missing shots, yes?
