I'm using this ship as a colony support ship. I want to transport modules from space to a new settlement on a planet.. do you have any blueprints for modules that I can use with this ship?

I think i found the issue, As long as the front mounted gun is fully *behind* the jump drive and not under it i am allowed to jump blind. If the gun on the rover is too far forward and under the jump drive i get the error.

Did a small update, seem to be able to jump to a specific GPS coordinate, but the blind jump still has the truncated issue for some reason.

I cant seem to use the jump drive on this... It says its been truncated and wont jump with nothing in the way ;-; PS It might be my stupidity

The apache already has merge blocks on it. I'd recommend controlling your descent speed (i.e. don't go in full speed) and kicking your atmospheric engines sooner (like 5000m). Also pick a flat and low landing site. Finally, try "pancaking" the dropship at about 6.5km altitude (i.e. leveling off)

Remove the speed mod and make sure you arent going down near mountains.
I don't remember how the craft (or merge blocks) works, but you can just add merge blocks on the Bison and the Apache.

I can't seem to land this on a planet with the Bison. Seems that by the time the atmo engines kick in it is to late (even on a Earth Like planet) that and the bison's platform sometimes glitches and seperates from the craft somehow dropping the speed from 300 m/s (modded speed obviously) to 0. Any tips on how to get this baby on the ground?

@Wildcard alright I was just wondering normally I'm used to having gravity gens as I haven't seen one without one (unless those were planets only)

@Turn999 I really didn't see the point of putting a grav gen on seeing it only has a cockpit and a cabin/cargo area. Not to mention it would of spent a bunch of time planetside where Grav gens don't work.

Get as high as you can with just the Atmospheric and Ion engines. You need some horizontal momentum too. Once you start losing speed, hit the Hydrogen engines and pitch up. You don't have much fuel, so pitch up and get out of the atmosphere as quickly as you can. You should run out of fuel just as the Ion Engines become strong enough to take you out of the gravity well. Don't worry about some speed slip, it'll pick up again as you climb.
