@Darinius417 Great mod that really helps on certain maps. But a question if i may, is if there any way to fill up water tanks with the fountain and then use the water in tanks for garden?

@john Tenner take a look at Water Fountains V2. That is my new version and I think they offer lower level fountains. I lost my code after an update years ago. I am surprised this version is still as popular as it is. I will be releasing V3 this winter with more. :)

Is there any way to edit at what level these engrams become available? With the water problems on aberation, I would like to supply players with a low level water source. they can build as noobies.

Having problems with engrams for this mod. Use of the engram is not permanent as the next time log in you will have to use more points on the engrams for this mod. Doesn't appear that the points are being refunded either.

It's on friends only ATM. I will unlock here tonight after a few tweaks. There are 4 new fountains all of them have really lifelike water animation. I spent hours on the animation of them.

Well actually..... your in luck. Someone else reached out to me a few days ago and wants me to create a new one to attach to their Mod..... I have downloaded the new ARK Dev systems and.... well i may be starting it up again.

I will say at first i will not have any ability to do water Area of Effect systems or inventory but I may put that in. I just wish i had access to my source code from the original so i can see how i did it. haha.

@Jessy5765 Checking back in after a long ARK hiatus -- any sparks of hope for your epic fountains to make a reappearance? This mod is pretty unique, and no alternatives seem to exist. With Wildcard's new sponsorship system [survivetheark.com] to reward ARK's best modders you might find yourself in a position to make some money if you've got the time. Would love to see a fountain resurrection!

I am sorry to announce to everyone that this rendition of the project is finished. I will develop a new version with some different ones. Unfortunately during the upgrade of the Unreal Engine Software I forgot to backup my files and they were all deleted. The entire project has been lost and after hours of freaking out and running about 12 drive recovery software's I have turned up with nothing.

Hey guys just letting everyone know. I am getting ready to pick up the pieces on this mod again. I am reloading the latest software versions and editors as I type this. Summer is almost over and Fall is beginning soon enough. Time for indoor fun again. :)

The "water Source" that the higher level fountains use, needs to be snapped to the fountain in order for the effects (drinking, refil containers, irrigation, ect.) to work. If you dont snap them then it will only look like it works but it will not. In fact it will break water holding items if you place them in the inventory. This is a limitation of the game.

So does this effectively create a water source anywhere, without needing to run pipes to the river?

I like the idea of the fountains but I don't want to give my players a way to get water access to a river or something.

Why not take a water fountain with a statue Dilo or a Raptor? certainly looks also interesting :)

The fountains do not need a waterpipe. They use the fountain source. However if you are able to connect the waterpipe and it looks okay, I believe you might be able to. :)

Can I hook up a pipe to the water fountain?

I had not actually thought of that... you may very well be right.

I also figure that the ark devs themselves still havent gotten rain to stop going into caves and through structures so im going to guess it has something to do with water and collsion detection in the engine.

Maybe with the recent update to the kit, they put collision controls back in. :)

haha. Stoni good job. You are the first to notice. :) I have been trying to figure out a way to make that not happen. But normally your placing these on something that will not matter because you will never see it. How did you notice? I am sure it will help performance to make it so that it stops i just havent figured that out yet.

Was noticing that the water is falling through the bottom. Is there a way to make that not happen?

i know it's not a wow idea, but it would be great to have a few smaller versions of the fountains, something that could fit on a foundation, for smaller gardens n such :) Really enjoy this mod, love the wall fountains!

Sorry Guys this Mod is NOT dead, I have been away for 2 weeks at Tech Conventions for work and Weddings. I plan on fixing the few bugs and adding another fountain here soon.

Well if all else at least there could be like a setting made for gamesettings.ini so you don't actually have to change the entire mod on my account, some might like it loud...

Yeah I never actually modified sound for the simple fountain. I will lower it.
