1) i use "Quicker Start" (not quick start; obsolete)...just because i've been trying out mods for a month straight. lol

2) is it possible to integrate this with LWtoolbox? those drones sure are pesky

I'm still a noob at XCOM 2 modding but: I believe that it should surgically change only the pods in Gatecrasher and leave everything else unchanged. So it will either fail to work (having been overridden by the other mod) or override the other mod's changes to the Gatecrasher pods and allow it to change all other pods.

This is definitely an essential mod - but would it maybe conflict with any other mods that modify pods? I'm thinking specifically of More Enemies or any of the pod size increase mods that Tigu has

Yup. On difficulties other than Legend, this mod just replaces the officer.

The Sectoid only appears on Impossible Gatecrasher though, doesn't it? I've never seen a Sectoid on Veteran or Commander Gatecrasher, and the code doesn't indicate one may spawn.

Just a heads up if you hate gatecrasher so much, there is a mod called "quick start" i think that allows you to skip gatecrasher... However I acknowledge that you get an officer corpse so that kind of spoils some of your goals

Good Idea. The Gatecrasher is annoying, because you don't yet get to pick your troops or any of their outfit. It is downright obnoxious on Legend, where you are outnumbered 2-to-1 and have 4 craptastic soldiers with the aim of stormtroopers, and the will of 4-year old children.
