the visor doesnt seem to change colour, it remains white despite me changing the colour in the override materials.
is there some way to fix this?

make sure you don't zero bones that are not locked. If you do, select the unlocked bones and apply the default slider.

Add an override material to the visor, send it to the element viewer. Then follow the steps above.

Ok it turns out the model I had wasn't yours (I subscribed to a couple people with the same model) and I still can't find yours in the menu.

Ok now I can lock it but when I resize and try to position it it disappears for whatever reason.

Found it but now I'm having problems locking it without it reverting back to its original size

Start SFM, Unsub the model, Allow it to clear. Resub the model. If offered to replace materials, Select Yes to All for each prompt. If you don't the materials will not download. This is a workshop bug.

Correct,

As written in the description above...

The fix for that is to add a BOOLEAN Attribute named $ambientocclusion to the invasion_cadet_visor_1 (to fix Red) and the invasion_ cadet_visor_1_blue (to fix Blue) while doing the material override. Leave the Checkbox UNCHECKED (which means 0 or Off)

Oh okay, I just didn't really know what a BOOLEAN was, and I just can't seem to figure out what to do after I create the bool attribute, I still keep uncheck by the way

Hey Jack, can make a more of a simplified guide of how to do this, because I can't really tell whether or not if I should use the bool, or bool_array. And a lot more after that seems confusing.

true, I just ried using docs colouring script and it coloured the ear piece, not the visor. Sorry!

Pte Jack, I had found out how to fix it. if you add a float $ambientocclusion to the invasion_cadet_visor_1 and invasion_cadet_visor, it fixes the ear pieces.

Check the workshop, I'm quite sure that there is already a fix out there for the Spooky Sleeves (if not it's an easy fix).

I'm more or less just posting things that are a REAL pain to try and fix these days. Like this one took about 4 hours to finally figure out how to fix the visor part and a lot of fiddling with the textures.

Hey ptejack. I exported the multi class spooky sleeves and i saw that the paintable part is all black. Can you fix it please?

Well Sucky, obviously you don't know how to import the new TF2 (or other Valve) game assets into SFM. It appears that Valve has abandonned this version (the original release) of SFM and has moved on to supporting the Dota Version, however if you look in the guides section for guides on how to import other assets in to this version of SFM, you'll see why the fix is here.

Why a texture fix when the base model isn't even in SFM yet? Seeing that they hadn't update this thing since January last year.

the model is a TF Mann Store item (I think, it's part of the invasion pack), so yeah, it would be a sale item if that is the case. I did not recompile the model, not required to get the materials and textures to work.

is the ao fix to recompile with mostlyopaque? is that model for sale only? *shrugs*
