yeah , i know but i wanted to understand. If i choose an opponent for heal with 1 heart, am i heal too or just the opponent ?

@Suppaman Hey, I'm glad you are enjoying the game. :)

The Potion Shop card basically allows you to heal an opponent at will (on your turn), forcing them to pay you rupees for your healing. Think of yourself as the Potion Shop Merchant, and you are taking their money for your services... just without their permission. :P

As for the rules, I just know that in the newer versions of the game, Player 1 automatically enters the 1st spot (without attacking), and if there are more than 4 players present, Player 2 would automatically enter the 2nd spot (complicating matters if they hit Player 1 on the way in, giving Player 1 a chance to flee, which would then force Player 3 to auto enter etc etc). I'm not sure if that's for balance purposes or to help put the game on a bit of a timer or what. Honestly, I was mostly copy-pasting my previous response, just because it was ignored. Nice of you to acknowledge me!

Also, even if some of the fluff choices on the Armors are a bit... curious, I love them FAR more than I loved the Costumes. KoT might be tongue in cheek as hell, but CheerleaderVampireClownGodzilla is not for me. Legends with various Armor Upgrades, on the other hand, fits quite well.

I'll be honest, I contemplated figuring out how to modify stuff so I could have put in the remaining characters myself, and once the mod started freaking out, too. But it's good to see its true owner getting it back into ship shape and adding stuff to it! I'm curious if, in your next major update, you'll cover the few Power Cards you currently don't have. Monster Sidekick being a fun one that's missing.

Thanks for the adjusted table info, regardless of if you can put it in. Definitely a better solution than having to get out the rule book and have them search for a "Power Limit", and then noting that the table's "guides" are an image. I'd had an argument over that -SEVERAL- times, even as the host, despite how it's better to just roll for victory points than it is for money most of the time, and that I wanted to buy half the deck just because I was toying with peeps. >.>

It crashed when I tried to load all 3 "new" character's Enhancements at the same time. It loaded fine once I gave it another go and did each one at a time.

Obviously Darunia would be Panda Kai, and it seems you made Dark Link from Jack O Lantern and Ghirahim from Oggie? I figured as much, though I personally would have made Zant one of the Halloween Villains. I guess that's just a difference between our tastes. As much of the main cast as possible (with Ruto and the Space Penguin probably being the closest fit of the remaining, when you think about it. Though funny enough, she was my least favorite character in Hyrule Warriors.) I suppose additional characters could be given the Alpha Zombie treatment, left to just their mugshot with no specialized powers like the main 10?

@Pika Not sure about the crashing. Others have tried it and say it works fine. :(

As far as the table: I'm in the midst of working on a new one, but don't have it complete yet. When it is available, I will upload it so that people who have the mod will get it automatically. Until then, if you would like to change it, you can just change the picture of the custom table or adjust the snap points with the snap point editor.

I can look into getting any updates to the rules put in, I just need to look them over first so that I can find a way to put them into the files.

As far as more characters... they will eventually come. There are a lot of characters, and as you pointed out I like to use the models from Hyrule Warriors, so that can mean Sheik, Princess Ruto, Fi, Agitha, Lana, Zant, Cia, Wizro, Volga, Twili Midna, Young Link, Tingle, and Linkle are all possibilities atm. Who knows, I might even use characters outside of HW. :)

Well, I just tried to load the mod and check out each of the new character's power cards, only for TTS to crash. I'm sure that's probably just a one time thing, and once I've got time to load it slowly, rather than right before I leave for work, it'll probably be fine.

An unchanged issue I had before that hasn't been addressed is that the gameboard still seems to have "spaces" to represent some sort of in game Power Limit to one's hand, again, something not actually present in King of Tokyo, which this game is a reskin of. No chance to fix that? Or any tips on changing it one's self?

I also didn't get a chance to see if you went with the updated rules based on the latest versions of the games or not. I -am- curious if you also intend to make the last 10th playable character; I was expecting Princess Ruto, given you've been using Hyrule Warriors heroes. Either her, or Cia/Lana.

As far as I can tell the other missing object is a dice box that's no longer supported. Just find another one or delete the asset and overwrite.

Alternatively, you can open the original JSON file (Documents>My Games>Tabletop Simulator>Mods>Workshop) and fix the paths there. I found this much easier than finding the small objects and right clicking everything.

For anyone looking to fix the import errors. Subscibe to a different King of Tokyo mod (I used Rari's King of Tokyo Collection) and right click on any red health wheel. Go to Custom and copy the image path. Go back into King of Hyrule and when it asks for the token's image path, paste the previous path onto it. Save the game (you will load this from now on whenever you want to play it).

Do the same for the character card (anyone will do), but this time grab the mesh path. When it asks, paste this path into the mesh and collider paths. You may have to right click on the small tokens in order to get them all. You may have to relink the wheels and character card when done (I did). Overwrite the save to keep the changes.

Deckbox obj 01 doesn't spawn for me, either, though it's thankfully never been a problem in being able to play.

What is an actual issue is that the game board's use of "spaces" to represent some sort of in game Power Limit to your hand, when there's no such thing in the rules (for this or in actual King of Tokyo). Is there anyway to modify the board to remove them?

Updating the rule-book to the revamped rules that both simply the game and explain some cards better would also be nice...

@Beesafree It looks like the model that is having the issue for you is in fact the box that holds the Power Cards you are looking for. I checked it myself and had a few others check as well, and still seems to be working properly for us. I'm not sure why that model wouldn't be loading for you. In order to help out, I've updated the mod with the cards OUTSIDE of the box for now in case any others are having this weird error with the box.

@LeonKumo They're inside the box right above where the Power Cards are set to be laid out. I put them in there to help with the initial loading of the game. Should be able to just pull them right out and continue setup. :)

@Nivvy I'm glad to hear that you enjoy it so much, makes it worth putting these mods out. :) I've been considering doing a King of New York version for a while, and I'm definitely leaning towards a "yes" in that department. In terms of expansions, I've already got a couple of characters in development for King of Hyrule. ;)

I just wanted to say that this game made my day :) I am a huge King of Tokyo fan and the amount of creativity that was thrown into this is amazing! I know you can't legally sell this, but if you had a patreon, I'd totally donate to you to continue your fantastic work! Any plans on making a King of New York spin off based on Mushroom Kingdom?? ;D or any future character expansions?

@Valour Hey there! The best way to do it is to select the square part of the character sheet to pick it up. Then place it where you would like it to be, and then hit "L" to lock it in place. That will keep the square there while the wheels will be free to rotate.

Next, left-click and hold on a wheel and hit "Q" or "E" to rotate one way or the other. I've found it best to have your rotational degrees set to 15 for the desired results.

@game crawler Not sure what's going on there. I verified it with a few other people that the cards are working fine for them. Maybe try re-subbing to the mod and getting a fresh load of it. If that doesn't work, we can figure it out. :)
