Do you think you can make a simple 3 phase line? I cant find one to save my life on here. I can send you the Duke Energy (Electric company in my area) Standard for that line that has dimensions. Thanks!
ItsChris 17 Sep, 2018 @ 11:54pm
Wait I just realized that unintended pun "waste of energy" lelelel
GCVos  [author] 17 Sep, 2018 @ 11:29am
Or maybe you should be aware these were made more than a year before we could modify power lines...
ItsChris 16 Sep, 2018 @ 8:59am
Waste of energy. I can't seem to get them to work like FFS can't u just do what everyone else has done and make it a loft.
londonrials 23 Jun, 2018 @ 1:10am
Wasteful as it doesn't do anything...
Leandro 28 Dec, 2017 @ 8:01am
very good!!!
Nickvet419 5 Dec, 2017 @ 6:35am
Dams and power lines now editable in Road Editor
hannodb 24 Oct, 2017 @ 12:51pm
I thought I could use this as a replacement for the high voltage powerlines for a more rural look. Turns out it's for decoration only, it doesn't actually do anything. :-(
DRen72 3 Oct, 2017 @ 4:20am
If you could make these placeable like a tree or fence, then you would have the best utility pole yet since you could then plop them in links.
dumb idiot birdo 4 Sep, 2017 @ 2:33pm
too much of a pain to set up.
SkiRich 31 Aug, 2017 @ 10:13pm
Any chance you could make a version with lights attached? I know I could just line up one of the utiity poles in the lights pack but it would be easier if built in.
ommahead 14 Aug, 2017 @ 1:44pm
...very huge!
KingJew 5 Aug, 2017 @ 1:19pm
This would be amazing if draggable.. otherwise its a huge pain to line up
citiesskylinehasstoppedworking 19 Jul, 2017 @ 5:15pm
i am having great trouble to line all up ....so i gave up :P
Heffer 17 May, 2017 @ 5:46pm
Can you make this exact pole a prop I am subbed to you pole with the streetlight but it would be nice to have an aesthetic one without lines or just compatible with Prop Line Tool
Legion, Duke of Rockford 30 Jan, 2017 @ 4:12pm
@GCVos Hello, great props you made here! Following this discussion, may I suggest a possible solution? Draggable prop version may not have power as you said but what if you were to add invisible power relays to build along it? Not sure if that might work. *shrugs*
<dUmB>Armageddon 22 Nov, 2016 @ 12:24am
Yes, indeed a real, draggable powerline would be awesome addition. Just like the vanilla powerlines. I do not find empty powerline poles very compelling ;)
NYCBoi3 19 Nov, 2016 @ 7:22pm
A draggable version would be nice
TheInkySquidsGaming 6 Oct, 2016 @ 2:07am
Just what I need. Thank you! :)
Björn 16 Sep, 2016 @ 1:38pm
just what i was looking for
Croissant 15 Sep, 2016 @ 2:32pm
@GCVos The prop version can carry power with underground powerlines assets!
La_Lakers_87 14 Jun, 2016 @ 8:10am
very good , thx
GCVos  [author] 23 May, 2016 @ 1:01pm
Thanks guys! A draggable prop version is definitely possible now (it just wouldn't carry power)...
LucKessel 19 May, 2016 @ 1:49pm
Good poles Vos! I was searching for it a long time
Nickvet419 18 May, 2016 @ 5:37am
How about 32m as a prop to use with the barrier placer mod? https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=683304621
Clubmaster 6 May, 2016 @ 12:12pm
ok thank you :)
GCVos  [author] 6 May, 2016 @ 10:14am
I just used as few segments as possible, still most of the tris did go into the wires. So I removed them from the lod. ;)
Clubmaster 5 May, 2016 @ 1:08pm
Can you tell me how you model the wire in order to save triangles ? I need to know that for my next project. Thank you
GCVos  [author] 27 Apr, 2016 @ 8:29am
@ dannyman: Good point, you're right there should be one more wire on top. Oh well, this saves some triangles...

@ itsmetheuglykid: I'm affraid not, I don't have the modding skills for that. Maybe one day if Network Skins supports it...
itsmetheuglykid 21 Apr, 2016 @ 12:16am
I really like this. Thank you for the time you put into making this mod. Is there no way to make these draggable like the original power lines in game?
dannyman 20 Apr, 2016 @ 8:13pm
You probably want three wires on the top. In North America, the lower levels are often telephone, etc. but at the top you do three-phase AC power.
Chris Winters 18 Apr, 2016 @ 2:24pm
Actually.. if you deleted this --- part ontop of pole 2, it might look better if we place them pole-on-pole, don't you think?
GCVos  [author] 18 Apr, 2016 @ 5:56am
Thanks everyone! There's no way I can make the wires auto connect nor can I make them 'draggable'. I left the connections open so the poles can be angled around bends. This is the best I can do. ;)
cookietongs 17 Apr, 2016 @ 8:05pm
nice, love it
Chris Winters 17 Apr, 2016 @ 4:13pm
Way too fiddly with each duo of poles being one building, the building needing confirmation to demolish, etc. Sorry. Great model work tho.
benzoll 17 Apr, 2016 @ 3:48pm
Cool "ligth stake".
Although you can not put "line followed", uniting them does the same effect.
Mansen 17 Apr, 2016 @ 5:34am
Because we don't really use them in Scandinavia, Kat. Our power lines are either dug into the ground, or we use the bigger poles for long distance.
puban 17 Apr, 2016 @ 5:09am
I love it! have been waiting a long time for this kind of power lines! thank you
Mer14xd 17 Apr, 2016 @ 4:36am
Finally! Thanks man, because the big pole in the middle of city is very weird
markleusmasangcay 17 Apr, 2016 @ 3:14am
maybe considering making a concrete version??? for urban style power lines! haha :)
Kaiyan 17 Apr, 2016 @ 2:51am
Always needed this. Wondered why they didn't include these in the base game.
리틀 로켓 맨 [DPRK] 17 Apr, 2016 @ 1:36am
Thanks so much! This is what I'm waited for! :3
pkobe17 16 Apr, 2016 @ 6:08pm
Thanks so much! I hated the look of the big metal ones in local/rural areas.
Ed the Head 16 Apr, 2016 @ 4:39pm
Awesome! Any chance on adding ones with transformers attached to them?
roboticsmarts 16 Apr, 2016 @ 4:27pm
COOL!
knightriderlv2 16 Apr, 2016 @ 2:58pm
Finally, real looking electrical poles no more High tension poles in my suburbs. I want to thank you GCVos. I only have one issue, if I want to run the poles down my street, when I place the second set either the 2 or 3 poles the wires do not connect to each of the sets, looks funky, or am I missing something to make the wires of each set connect?
Swan Ronson 16 Apr, 2016 @ 1:00pm
This mod has solved many decor issues i've been having!
genmviner 16 Apr, 2016 @ 12:52pm
I wish someone could make this style of utility pole just like vanilla where you can just 'string' it.
MrMaison 16 Apr, 2016 @ 9:27am
Awesome. Been wanting this from day 1. Thank You!!
