I'll try this formation with another team in the future, but it really isn't working for me. Then again, had some rotten luck with sending off's and penalties.
When playing against a narrow formation team, remove exploit the middle.
When a goal down I normally go Overload, and remove Work Ball Into Box if you've put that on, maybe push the wide midfielders up to wingers and have your defensive line not as deep.
Won't always work obviously, but I feel it's given some good results when needed.
Also holding on to a slender lead late on, go contain and even move the deep lying playmaker to a defensive mid. Only do this for the last 10 minutes of a game maximum as otherwise it invites too much pressure and increases their amount of set pieces giving an extra chance for them to score.
I still have a question though: What should I do (tactic wise) when I'm down by a goal?
