This is a silly question, I know, but would you please consider also making a box for the VHS tape? That brings back memories. I used to tape my fav music videos from MTV - back then, when it was Music Television and not Reality TV... also: DARIA for the WIN!

I use Cinema 4D and you don't need to rig a simple model if it doesn't have moving parts.

how do you make these model props in blender? do you have to rig it or not if it is a prop. or you don't use blender to make your models?

The spindles themselves don't move. It's only a 2D texture.

The problem is, you got the take-up reel filled instead of the supply reel when you modeled this.

I think you got the front of the tape fliped. the removable tab needs to be at the other side and coming from the bottom. like seen here: http://cdn-static.denofgeek.com/sites/denofgeek/files/2015/11/105715-600x399-vhs.jpg
