very cool
your ability to make big, detailed rooms with very little gameplay but lots of things to see impresses me.
i also like the shape of the rooms you make. they're very interesting and fun to look at.
very impressive for someone like me who struggles with making interesting room shapes

Short, sweet, and too the point. Very well made. I like that part where you had to drop that piece of plywood then weigh down the other end with 3 prototype Aperture Science Weighted Storage Cubes, as soon as I saw that i was like yep that's a reference to some of the HL2 puzzles.

Amazing exploration map! If ur looking for a map where u get to immerse ur self in a gritty Cave Johnson world, this map is for u. Never seen the use of portals to make cables detach like that. Amazing hammer work!

Interesting concept, altough yeah being just a standalone map won't cut it. The mechanic is just way too obvious to make an entire map out of it.

I'll give it to ya though: sometimes it's better just to let it go. Life is all about decisions and I'm sure you made the right one here. Sorry for being the workshop grandpa but I learned this in life the hard way!

That was just a lot of really good fun. Great atmosphere and I love the huge rooms. So much fun to explore. I would love to see all the scrapped concepts if you ever publish them.

@Felix @HumbaGumba You are supposed to be sucked by the tube to end the map. It wasn't designed as a stand alone map, maybe that's where the confusion is.

I couldn't find a way out of the slightly flooded area of the map. I nocliped out. How was I supposed to do that? Also I haven't played the other 3 maps on the deescription, so mabey that has something to do with it?

@atommalac Thats a native problem in Portal 2. If you go to chapter 6 or 7, the same thing happens. You can fix it by turning down the shader detail in the video settings.

I went back and spent some time to get up on the elevated catwalk in the last room, only to find that the door at the end of it doesn't open.. that was disappointing.

really cool looking map, but the rock textures look very shiny for me. And the elevator portal surface is glitchy, doesn't always work.

i managed to get trapped a couple of times. in a first big room, left of the aperture logo there is a tempting little hole(sure looks like an easter egg entrance). then in a room after an elevator jump, you can jump down the pit from the barrels, though it's slightly less tempting. otherwise, good job!

I don't feel that the beginning area was clear enough. It took me too long to figure out what you're suppose to do. The second area was worse, because even though there's an EXIT sign, getting to the exist is difficult because of poor floor placement. I had to cover half of the entire floor with the gel to be able to even jump to it. I don't feel that this is a matter of player error. Such a shame, this map had nice visuals. :/

Super fun map. Thank you for all the work you put into it. The final exit surprised me. As you said in your description, it was not designed to be a stand-alone map and maybe that was the reason for the final exit. I piled up cubes to get to the walkway to get to that upper door, but it did not open. :( I read some of the comments below me and disagree with them. Maps that make you explore and think are the best ones. Also, some players have not learned about F6 and F7, my favorite keys for playing Portal.

Excellent map. Innovative with a new way to use the boxes! Loved it. As to checkpoints, I don't understand why the F6 (save) and F7 (restore) buttons are not used! Thanks!

One thing I really don't like about this map (I finished it) is how you have to jump around randomly to find the very tiny ledge from which you can jump to a wooden plank somewhere, or onto a platform. It's a shame, too, since the visual and audio effects were amazing.

The goal of your puzzle is not clear at all. Your chamber is very confused for the players. Test Chambers should always have a clear objetive, so players could start figuring it out in order to solving the puzzle.

There's no checkpoints, if you die you restart. The start of the map where you have to jump on the pipe to get to the other side has a ladder who i thought you could climb but it was noclipped so it completely trolled me. And the part with the elevator had no sense to it as you had to take the elevator but it cannot go downwards unless you jump all the way down and make it go downwards. I know where i have to go but there isn't any place where i can put my second portal that is high enough but the elevator, but to use the elevator platform, it needs to be at the bottom.

I loved this map in EVERY way possible.
The visual design, the audio design, the puzzle design. Everything about this map was done to what I call perfection and I love you for it.
