To save some trouble press the edit button and find the small pins that say edit name and change the description box.

Sorry, @jamalcolmson. This was a first attempt I made 5 years ago and I haven't been able to maintain it, with other TTS patches since invalidating pieces of it. There are better options out there.

How in the world does this work? I click edit mode to change stuff, but tapping on the little pawns that say "edit [whatever]" does nothing, hovering they tell me I need to be in edit mode, even though I already am in edit mode. I get the impression that database object has an ugly heap of code that the character sheet somehow reads via the load button? But I can't sort out what's actual editable fields versus actual script to make it function at all. There's no comments to explain it, and no rules guides to explain what to do either. Why is it built like this even, when other RPGs have directly interactive character sheets with editable text fields by default?

I'm also seeing the numbers issue. It seems like it started when Tabletop Simulator received a patch on the 29th.

Thanks for the response! Yeah unfortunately I have no scripting skills either. I do notice that the numbers respond (as in, I'll get the messages that something cannot exceed the threshold) whenever I hit the plus or minus buttons. So, I think the issue is just that the numbers are not visible for whatever reason, as it would appear they're still saved. Not sure if that helps, but I would be happy to help test as well.

I've gotten this report from a few people. I'll investigate, but to be honest it's been years since I've touched scripting so I'm a bit rusty.

Love your work on this mod! I've noticed since the latest TTS update that the numbers for wounds, strain, encumbrance, and defense no longer appear on the character sheets. It's quite troublesome :( Is this an issue just on my end? Even tried reloading old saves and nothing changes.

Hey Marlow! First off, nice char sheet. Im starting a game with some friends and its working pretty dopely. lol.

I do have a question however: is there a way to edit Weapons and their stats onto the sheet?? or aM i just derping out? we cant seem to find a way to do that.

My group and I have found a problem with the sheets where the old skills do not get deleted and the new skills load over the old and mesh together. if you add the FlushSheet command within the LoadAll command it should fix it, I have edited it for my group and it seems to work. This is the first time working with Lua so there may be some bugs.

Hey! I'm pretty new to Tabletop Simulator so I'm a bit lost. The character sheet says to enter edit mode to change name, species, etc. Where do I do that?

The databases will not record Piloting - Planetary, Piloting - Space, Streetwise, Ranged - Light, Ranged - Heavy, Core Worlds, and Outer Rim as career skills. You can click "Edit," click "Load," toggle one of those as "Y," click "Save," and then save the database, save the overall game .. but if you go to load it, you will find that your actions did not survive. In fact, if you go into the text section of the database and change all of the 33 corresponding "Y/N" results to "Y," none of them correspond to those skills and no "Y" will appear on the sheet. Every other skill will be permanently recorded as career skills.

It would also be great if Lightsaber (Ag/Int/Cun/Will/Pr) could be made possible and if Warfare could be added too.

Will this sheet include the Lightsaber and Knowledge (Warfare) skills? Do you still plan to allow players to have a page for Inventory, Obligation, Morality, etc?

@Xerxes Yeah it's quite buggy right now. Until I get time to clean it up and make it run better, I'd reccommend doing edits in your own personal game and then importing the databases from that save. Sorry about the trubbles!

We're trying to use this in our session. Any time we try to edit a sheet and save it, the + and - buttons for "current" strain and wounds dissappear. Any idea why this is happening? Thanks for your help!

They are compatible out of the box, just copy paste the sheet + database into the dice roller save. I'll be updating the dice roller in a couple days so that it is portable too, just a matter of copy and pasting one object.

Yes. The only skills missing are Lightsaber and Warfare. I don't think I'll be adding support for custom skills.

This is incredible, beautiful, and surprisingly intuitive. One small suggestion. The only part that confused me for few seconds was how to change name, species etc once I was in edit mode. Since it seems to update fine without the button, Maybe make the button give the instruction... something like "Edit token description to change".
