one downside to the whole ship is the gyroscopes don't like to work.
Glue some sensors to your drones name them all 'RFC' set them to detect enemy grids at max range, and use a flyby of an enemy target to get a lock :) this is what I do most of the time,

This a Keen-side issue, I posted a bug-report thread a while back and I've been assured will be fixed as soon as they can,
I personally prefer flying past the enemy in a heavily armoured mothership with a sensor on top, get the lock then call in the drones, although quite a few people prefer using a scout sqadron to do a recon flyby

Yeah, crashing on landing is a result of not enough thrust to slow down, it can be effected by speed mods sometimes though, need to see if i can squeeze in some more up-thrust without losing the aesthetic,

in a creative world press f10 to open blueprints menu, then select it, then ok, then paste it, :)
yes im using speed mode but that doesnt suppost to effect?
Just follow the video, and the rest will fall into place, scripts and everything are already put into the p-blocks!

I think JD.Horx would be the guy to ask if you are a fan of the building style, I simply retrofit the ships for the fleet
