Just as a shout out I would love it if someone would plz make a working version of either this or the 3x range version
because for the longest time we were not able to modify the weapon ranges. :)

I was hoping for a turret that could look after my ships while I am off mining.
That way a guy couldn't just stand off about 1.5 km, with a bazooka and wreak my ships with impunity.
well one problem is see is players can now just snipe pirate stations/ships without risking anything...
of course my engineers solution was just to fling a big ol chunk of scrap metal in their direction.
i called it bandit bowling.
landing gear a block of metal fly in their direction use a camera view for best aim and release it.
I know what you mean and i did some test and it's pretty much imposible to hit a moving target with gatling/missiles if they are further than 6km but what if anyone manage to pull it out then it's going to feel rawarding
Also i was thinking about stationarry base that can be easly destroyed by some missiles at 7km.It will remain an issue util we have a countermeasure mod...
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Active_protection_system
So yeah this mod is pretty OP for anything stationarry so if you play in mp with this, you better hide your base inside an asteroid.
Once i have all weapon set to the same range, it will be a matter of second to rebalance the range.
Also it does not affect AI detect range, well for now...
1. Does this affect targeting range? or just projectile travel distance?
And if it affects targeting range, can it be updated to change the range on other mods? Like this one?
