seems like the map isn't downloading correctly through the workshop, I can't find the map files. trying to join a custom coop game works except the game hard-stops once some part gets loaded.

@JakHalz, it actually works perfectly fine when testing. Would you mind if I re-released it (specifying insurgency compatible) or if I made some changes for you to re-release? I would mainly only optimize the nav-meshing to prevent bots being dumb and getting stuck. If I find anything in the VMF map that I'd recommend changing/improving on, would you mind if I made changes and recompiled? If you don't mind could you send me the VMF so Im not using a decompiled VMF?

I dont know if it will crash because of the player models? Otherwise I can recompile it for you with INS player models.

Whenever I play this map, Players who use the M1 Garand floating in the air with the arms spread out like a "T". Only on this map and only with the M1.

Sorry, JakHalz testet with 2 different clients, issue still exists.

Strange, it seems that not all have the problem.

But now we have a standalone version of D.O.I. , It can only get better :steamhappy:

Well, I dont hope my other maps will have this issue then.
I've build cubemaps twice with the updated map, hope the issue is gone now.

i don´t know why ist needed to build cubemaps twice, but i know after the last update all my insurgency maps (vanilla & D.O.I) have the issue with colored reflections, even my small test maps.
After I do so as described below the issue is disappeared.
Strange, In New World Forum i find nothing about the issue.

@ Freddy, since when is it needed to build cubemaps twice? I never done this with my other maps. It's only neccesary when you compile it for LDR and HDR, right?

My server is crash twice on this map when play checkpoint mode and next round start,no error report.
I guess it's a old bug caused by entities over 2048.
I got Total 1741 entities (0 empty, 1479 edicts) on the map,so the fact is 1741+6*(8p+32bots)=1981<2048,but is still crash.
Could you help me please?
should I use weaponmanager or ragdollmax cvar to fix this?

I did the same as with all my other maps, and now it isnt working anymore :/ I'll leave it as it is, or the map will be deleted <3

I've updated the map. Build the cubemaps again. Dont know if it's working, because with the previous build, I didnt see the checkboard pattern(in a extra install of INS) either

I believe you that you test your map :) :)
but my maps show after the first compile the same colored reflections
I test it always on 2 different client computers

Hey Freddy, I've build cubemaps after I compiled it. I checked everything in a separate(beta branch) install of Insurgency and I just dont see anything like purpled checker board textures :S

Open the game console and type "mat_specular 0" (without quotation marks)

See the pictures:

First picture with "mat_specular 1" (default setting)

I don´t now if this is the solution, but after the last update i have the same problem with my maps.

My solution:

After compile the map, i start it lokal, open the console and type these commands:

mat_specular 0
buildcubemaps

After map restarts i open the console again and type these commands:

mat_specular 1
buildcubemaps

Then the issue is resolved and the (my) maps has no colored reflections

I don't know if more people have this issue, if more have the same issue as you then probably something went wrong with packing the content in the file.

I see some pink colored reflections on ceilings and windows. I have DOI and verified the game cache, but did not fix it. Could you help me about it please?

Thanks for the reactions, soon I'll update the map because of a misplaced spawnpoint that causes issues for Push game mode.

@MoriSummer: open the console and type
map doi_resistance_a1 checkpoint (or any other supported coop mode)
