how is this mod OP? You just turned one of my favourite civs into shit

@SirCranburry FYI I don't maintain any Civ V mods anymore. (I don't even have it installed on my machine). Only Civ VI and possibly BERT mods henceforth.

нужно что то кардинально новое!

We need something radically new!

@Applejaxc Ok. I'm giving the Awesome* civs a rebalance pass anyway. Russia gets buffed a bit cos the AI aren't very good at using it

I would be glad to assist, Butterfly, and under normal circumstances I would, but I changed my mods (and deleted my saves) so I could watch Hitler fight Jefferson Davis.

@Applejaxc Can you send me your save game? I'll see if I can debug it

I had two cities surrounded by unclaimed forest, tundra, and plains. With mines adjacent to them. No claim.
blkbutterfly  [ophavsmand] 5. maj 2016 kl. 23:42
@Applejaxc Border expansion will only happen if you border forest, tundra, plains or snow. If you've got desert, coast, grasslands/jungle then it won't. (Also check you have the mod loaded. Read the civpedia to see if there's a difference)

On building my first krepost (3 mines already built, surrounded by applicable tiles) I saw zero border expansion. I was not at my border limit and the tiles were unclaimed territory.
blkbutterfly  [ophavsmand] 2. maj 2016 kl. 16:29
@AppleJaxc All mines. Past and future :steammocking:

Russia's UA mirrors America's. Both are expansive but for flavour/variety Russia's Krepost is the what gives them the border expansion
Ajax 2. maj 2016 kl. 15:38
But just WHEN it builds a krepost, and thereafter future mines are not subject to the benefit. Yes?
blkbutterfly  [ophavsmand] 2. maj 2016 kl. 14:54
@Applejaxc Every city grows borders once it has built a Krepost
Ajax 2. maj 2016 kl. 14:51
So you only get the krepost bump once per city, for that city?
blkbutterfly  [ophavsmand] 1. maj 2016 kl. 20:32
@Applejaxc Yeah. The border expansion algorithm (for Russia) is based on how many (non-pillaged) mines it has (in cities that built Kreposts)
Ajax 1. maj 2016 kl. 17:32
Thank you for the clarification.

Will future mines built *after* erecting a krepost continue to have this functionality?
blkbutterfly  [ophavsmand] 30. apr. 2016 kl. 12:06
@Applejaxc The wording is a little misleading. One a Krepost is built in a city mines will claim adjacent forest/plains/tundra/snow tiles or any such tile on your borders.
Ajax 30. apr. 2016 kl. 11:15
Do mines claim ADJACENT tiles, or tiles that mines are built on? (IE that are outside of Russia's borders)
