Yes, mods don't have saves. But quicksave works

I was using this on my stream today, holy crap it is buggy as hell. Lag and phasing through robotnik at the end fight was so bad.

Oh, cool! I still hope that Sega releases an official Sonic 2 & Knuckles soon, but it's really cool that we can use this mod in the meantime (as they're identical). Thanks for making this mod!

Yes, this 'mod' is indentical to Sonic 2 locked in with Sonic & Knuckles. It's the dumped rom of those cartridges combined as it is on the Genesis/Mega Drive.

Is there an official way to play as Knuckles in Sonic 2, or is the only way to download this mod? And is this identical to the lock-on with Sonic 2 and Knuckles? I haven't downloaded this mod yet, I was just asking before I do. This mod looks really cool!

You know it's possible to list Sonic 2 and Sonic & Knuckles as required DLCs? You can set it with the 'Add/Remove Required DLC' option on the right.

No problem. Hopefully Sega is cool with it. Kind of rides the line of being legal but I figured requiring Sonic 2 is better than requiring S&K is better to stay on the up and up

Thanks for posting this! I've been really disappointed that sega didn't include this with the initial collection.
