If you want the full experince, then go play SoR3 route in Streets of Rage Remake. I hate it when hackers insert cut content but don't do anything with it, so it plays like crap.

Far more gameplay differences than just those. The US version is far harder, enemies deal more damage the more you progress through the game, there's an extra higher difficulty and more minor changes here and there.

Your roll is less useless in the US version though, since it travels further.

the american version has a lot of censorship, removing nuke stuff, world domination, white house etc. In short the story is adjusted for kids.

There is a gameplay change too, I think? skill is more spammable in US

Am wondering as well what the differences are, granted though never played the original since only played the first two until now (sadly could never find the third one)
