by far the best enviroment, loved it, i would love to see multiple monitor supports and the ability to put the desk higher or lower (like standing desk?)

There could be a version of this room with the lights off with 2 monitors, it would be great.

Sorry @Mystik, but the PC version of Virtual Desktop is unlikely to get any more updates.

This Virtual space is amazing! Thank you for making this I know that people have mentioned this before about multi monitor support and you have clarified in the past that it is coming for virtual desktop. Do you know if something like this might be possible now, since multi monitor support is added to Virtual Desktop?

@peaceAcrosstheUniverse Sorry the lighting in this room is baked in. It wouldnt be a bad feature to add though, I'll try and remember to suggest it to ggodin!

Is the room brightness editable somehow by a virtual desktop control?

@ExoDave: Great, I do actually have a little update in the works, but it requires re-rendering the textures, which will take a while.

@WormSlayer. AWESOME! it works now. I want to thank you for the time you have put in restoring this piece of history. I will keep on visiting this environment, remembering the golden years.

If you did infact tried to update it, Then I would perhaps make a tiny change so I guess steam will know it's a new file? Looking forward to seeing this environment working again.

@WormSlayer, the new file isn't there. It says the lastest update for this was Sep 28, So am guessing the old file is still being used, As am not noticing a change. still at 3 change notes in the description, A update will make it into 4.

Yep does not show up

Other enviroments shows up. But this one, the one I want to use. Does not even appear on the list.

I have the same problem as Sean. This brilliant environment has always worked perfectly for me but now it does not appear in the list. I tried unsubscribing and subscribing again and double clicking the vde file. It might have happened at the same time as the Virtual Desktop update but I'm not sure.

Appreciate the sentiment @BadEnd but I have had a Rift since the kickstarter. I actually even have a Vive now too, but I've been a bit busy working on our HL2:VR mod to make any VRD environments recently :(

If you have virtual desktop, you need to subscribe to this. Someone start a fund me page for the author so he can get a headset to see his creation.

...Which makes it just that much more amazing that s/he was able to make this so good.

This is awesome, i have several times tried to put my controllers on the table only to almost drop them in real.

WormSlayer even if the vive/oculus had no content, this would make it all ok still. You get serious reality lag coming out of the environment. The cards on the table and the cool techy looking computer make everything feel so real, I only wish I had a bigger room so I could walk around this virtual one ;) please make more designs to put in this room. Like a spooky room so I can watch horrors with no escape or futuristic room. This is my favourite thing in VR right now!

Any way of creating a virtual triple monitor display that can actually be utilized as such? This is by far the best theme i have ever used for VD!

This is absolutely amazing. I love that there's a window and it looks wet and cold out there. All the little details are increadable.

@DrivebyKitty: Thanks! I do want to make some alternate versions, but they are really time consuming to render on my poor old computer, so I'll have to circle back around to it after I try and make some of the other environments on my list :)

This environment has to be the most immersive one I have tested. Great job! I know I'm asking too much already, but any possibility of a "night" version, maybe with some Christmas lights strung around the top of the walls? Hope to see more from you!

@Paul 1: Maybe when I get a Vive, I'll be inspired to make a themed room.

Can I request one that is vive themed, or at least not oculus themed? I know there's the blank one but it's a bit bland and I like how this one has a bunch of decorations but oculus is a joke at this point thanks to their amazing customer relations and I'm not about to look at it in VR. Thanks bb

@Krieger_762x51: Sorry mate, the environments are static, like 3d photogrsphs. Obviously making them animated and interactive would be sweet, but thats still on the wish list for now.

Worm Slayer can you please add a control panel or something to change the positon of the keyboard, the chair and all that fine tuning, or even controll the lights in the virtual room or play music and have it accurately HRTF 3D play it in your virtual room ?

This room is awesome, huge thanks for putting in the effort to create it, it's my new default Virtual Desktop room! :)

For some reason, presence hit me really hard with this environment. I've got a new favorite.
