Alright idea, maybe could just use a bit of an update visually to fit along more with current maps, like how some of the doors open to the side and some other weird quirks here and there

Steel I get after awhile, but idk. I feel like this map looks very cool, but I just wish there were more doorways to go through.

Lol Grandpa, i always wondered about the people aimlessly wondering about steel, maybe some like tetris or minecraft is more your style.

im 7 years late just to complain! This map is needlessly confusing. It's worse then Steel. ONE doorway leads you to A and there's so many hallways that don't sseem to serve a purpose but to confuse on where to go. Also, all the arrows on the walls make it worse. This is like a backrooms map where you try to find an exit that never comes up.

UPDATED TODAY! a couple new sniper spots, over looking blu spawn and over looking cp_A (upstairs), also a small stair area on cp_A with a small health (nice sniper spot)
added a way around to top of cp_B and a sniper look spot (go upstairs to get to it).
flaming barrels for those huntsman out there (loads of em)
an extra door/sniper spot from inside the blu spawn
lighting fixes, optimization as always

made some pretty nice changes to the map, many sniper spots etc, cant wait to render and upload it! btw been have some epic battles with bots lately, its getting crazy in here

cp_viper_industries UPDATED!
change notes...
increased ambient lighting slightly
added 1 minute to first capture
added hut to where blu spawns
added extra walls before capture C
placed temp red spawn at beginning match (at match start red spawn moves back)
this is so you can get to defend blu spawn better.
cut an area in the glass by capture C so its easier to attack (great for snipers)
more optimiztion

I could see how this could get in the game. needs some texture and lighting changes, but apart from that the acutaul map without the a few of the dodgey lights and the over-detalied surfaces, could make it into the game.

(soz for posting again)! i reckon of you changed the lighing to make it much more lighter outdoors, it would give the map a much better feel to it. also maybe consider putting a bit more cover on capture point C so players can hise from projectiles and bullets, maybe a wall or some crates/barrels. oh and maybe a few more large health packs, to improve players survivability.

it makes it easyer to cap when you put into the console tf_bot_melee_only 1 , it gives the bots melee only. yeah your welcome for the feed back, this is still my favourite map even if it is a bit tricky to memorise the layout!

I found my map had downloaded to
"STEAM\SteamApps\workshop\content\440\675046414" (tf2 cant read maps from here so you have to move it)
this problem only affects some people and not all,
so if it isnt in your
''STEAM\SteamApps\common\Team Fortress 2\tf\maps" folder, put it there

lachnload, yeah, with bots, they tend to only hang out where the capture point is, so it does make it extremely hard to capture and easy to defend (this is not real world, non human gameplay) (trying to cap the last point with bots is extremely hard, the bots just tend to get there and turn around without helping you at all,CRAZY BOTS!), the map was far bigger, i decreased the size of the map from the original (cp_viper) and removed a whole bunch of alternative routes (to make it more simple and less confusing), it may seem like there are too many routes, but it all goes in the same direction.
Please remember this a work in progress and will be updated from time to time, thanks a million for the input (you should consider joining tf2maps.net to help others with their maps)

ok now feedback on the map (i've posted so much on this page)
PROS:
1. i really like this map, the bot feature makes it accesable to some people like me who don't have very good internet.
2. it looks great, i like how the setting changed from canyon to grass to inside. its pretty neat.
3. i like that you put in the toxic water on capture point C, it adds a layer or caution to massive pushes.
CONS:
1. maybe a little TOO big, it's a massive map, with heaps of alterante routes. maybe too many.
2. it takes a bit long to get from spawn to the capture point your team is attacking/defending.
3. its a little too easy to defend. like for instance, the first time i booted up this map, added the bots, then we started attacking. first thing i noticed was that there were 2 sentries in a small courtyard, it was incredibly hard to push past ever capture point A. then when we got to capture point B there was already 2 level 3 sentries set up inside the capture house.

which folder do i find it in? is it in the game files or s it a folder i can find by using finder or as one would say in PC terms, file finder or whatever

ANyone who has noticed the tf2 workshop error of the map downloading but not showing up in your games folder (including myself and probably everyone on steam....
HERE IS THE FIX
in your folder
"STEAM\SteamApps\workshop\content\440\675046414\cp_viper_industries"
here is the map which it downloaded but it wont show up if you try load the map,
you need to move it to the correct folder
"STEAM\SteamApps\common\Team Fortress 2\tf\maps"

I hope valve fixes this issue soon, I have reported it as a bug but please feel free to report the bug as well to get them to fix it sooner

for anyone not sure how to play workshop maps, subscribe, start tf2, look for the servers button, click the plus next to servers, find map name, start it. in console type tf_bot_difficulty 3 (if you want them hard) and tf_bot_add 23 (if you want a full server)
