R.I.P General Bee

I've learned so much from your videos on Youtube - Helped steamline the process of learning the game, really. I felt so retarded after seeing how simple it all really is -- aside from programming.

well its a buggy at least with a turret too for a alien planet jeez on that planet you need a turret onless your butterd alien toast
Bunnies&Cherris 6 May, 2016 @ 2:30pm
I turned it into a truck, then tried to powerslide, and it worked. But the friction was increased by 1.3, so, yea
AryxCami 6 May, 2016 @ 11:05am
@Lt Bondy: I agree on both of those terms.
Padfoot 6 May, 2016 @ 10:46am
also wasted you are awsome
Padfoot 6 May, 2016 @ 10:45am
it quite sad that the buggy never got to see combat
AryxCami 6 May, 2016 @ 10:39am
I found the colour (orange) for this build was Hue: 17, Saturation: 100 and Value: 22,
im attempting to fix the powersliding like crazy.
Goobs 5 May, 2016 @ 9:46pm
Well I did fix it in like two hours (30 minutes of work, an hour and a half of sweet, sweet powerslides).. Left plenty of room in the back to expand the cargo back up if you need it for hard mode survival.

Don't think I butchered it too too much.

LOL welcome to my worrld W. LOL
w4stedspace  [author] 5 May, 2016 @ 2:58am
lol :) At least people didn't just turn around and fix it with 1 change and I'm left looking like a melon!
XandreBlues 5 May, 2016 @ 1:27am
lol, this is.. no that's wrong, you sir are awesome. Thank you! Love the series and your creations! :steamhappy:
rlb 4 May, 2016 @ 8:46pm
Yup... The author declaims his creation, so every amateur mechanic on the workshop (me included) is trying to fix it. I shouldn't be surprised. Maybe he wants free design labor for the General Bee v2.0. ;)
Hellothere 4 May, 2016 @ 12:50pm
How in the hell did you manage to get this to behave this badly? I tried every single trick I normally use to improve wheeled vehicles from adding gyros to tweaking the friction, power and suspension of every axis individually. Nothing really did anything.

You seriously deserve an award for producing something so utterly messed up.
MrEvan312 3 May, 2016 @ 2:46pm
Keen's work is equally amazing and dissappointing. Wheels/suspension is practically broken, rotors are almost as bad, the game can't handle very large items/large number of smaller items, etc. Not Waste's fault that ground vehicles are a bitch to perfect.

Shack coulkdnt tame the biest...Wheels are so funny.
Great design tho!
w4stedspace  [author] 3 May, 2016 @ 4:12am
Yeah the middle wheels are just making things worse imho...

Will have a look rlb :)

w4stedspace, I've uploaded a drivable and slightly tweaked model here . Would you be kind enough to check it out and tell me how it handles in your experience?
Gold Ship 30 Apr, 2016 @ 7:47pm
really noice ^^
w4stedspace  [author] 30 Apr, 2016 @ 5:33pm
They have room to be placed no problem, just doesn't handle well :)
DoctorKrieg 30 Apr, 2016 @ 11:29am
Thanks for uploading the General Bee! also, your demonstration with the Gen. D was fantastic, cant wait to test it out, -- a further question tho, being the wheels so close to each other in the middle row for the General D. wouldnt it give an issue specially in survival where the wheels need space to be placed?
