you have your opinion about mods and i have mine. lets leave it in that way. oh i have outfitted that shuttle with mods and it work very very good.

Because
A.) mods break and support is far from guaranteed,
B.) making it baseline guarantees performance-friendly and working implementation
and
C.) we're not talking about something that should require mods but something that really has no business not being vanilla already.
Mods are not a reason. Mods are an excuse. And their inclusion into an early Alpha is a tragedy.

yes because its now normal ti use mods. even the devs are using mods. so when the modders are making everything why should an dev add things that are currently existing as mods? so they only fix bugs and improve the performance and sometimes open the mod api for more different mods

@5URG3 Thank you! I'm trying to get the word on the missing small ship blocks out every damn time Marek's taking questions but if this week's Monday Stream is anything to judge the future by he's not even reading it anymore.

We should start a campaign for small grid doors. It really annoys me too.

@Solivares yeah, it's an unfortunate side effect of being so small :/ i'm experimenting with Hydrogen Thrusters; works well for space, i think, but in my mind, if i use Hydrogen Thrusters i might as well make it capable of leaving Planets, which it's incapable of doing atm. I'm also quite disappointed that i have no proper, reliable and save way to close the backside.

Awesome! the only complaint is that its not too fast, but as a prop, best thing to use!

Unfortunately it's got an open butt due to the game lacking any sort of reliable door for small ships :/ and after checking some of my old Worlds full of dislocated Rotors and broken Pistons simply from changes Keen made to default settings i'm sure as fuck not "engineering" one with those again.
