Me : THE HELLS A SENIC!?
Uses ugly Sonic 4 running style.
Okay.
remember playing this on the Kega Fusion
Beautiful hack, nice job
The worst change is easily his running sprites though. They look ugly. I can forgive his full speed sprite because you've changed it to the peel-out (although that's still stupid, but whatever). But his sprite before he gets up to speed looks awkward, and as stated before, ugly.
Next time you want to make a hack, for the love of all that is holy, please make one that at least attempts something other than just changing the sprites around.
In general though, the sprite swap is incredibly underwhelming. You've failed at the basic task you've set out to accomplish. Most of these swaps make Sonic look moronic. It's as if you added them in at random instead of carefully thinking about what you could do to spruce up his poses more. Some of the swaps outright make no sense. Why would Sonic ever purposefully face the direction a current is pulling him in while he's trying to stay in place? To make a statement? The same goes for when Knux blows him upwards. He doesn't know where the current will take him. Why is he not trying to latch to the grass?
